It's called phase cancellation, when two audio sources sound way too similar some frequencies cancel each other out, resulting in a cool effect and in this case almost inhuman sound.

Vanessa Bayer's coy and authentic sincerity really sells this as with everything she does. It wouldn't hurt to bring her back in guest slots and she'd be an excellent host.

The "Pheebs" bit is great and it seems it caught Jen off guard too.

It was funny the first 30 seconds, then it went on for a minute more. In the end the basically admit through Anniston it's not that great and that it goes on for too long, which is just a cop out for lazy writing. It's like making a show about making a show and being all pretentiously self critical and aware, while actually admiring oneself in the mirror. But I suppose that's describing the millenial generation to a tee, so they eat it all up.

It can be both. grabbing hand like that or patting on the upper back (in the mid spine or near shoulder area) these can be either comforting gesture or a complete power move. I personally find her to be very dominant. If you see in the early interviews/shows she did not have these gestures, but in later times or now she has it. my conspiracy theory is she learnt to be dominant to survive in the industry.

The audience was so caught up and mesmerized, they missed the 2 ladies saying "Oh, Ross" in unison. I still caught it though! Friends & Living Single 4-ever!!!

Her voice is SPOT ON. I swear, close your eyes, and it really sounds like her :D

I am typing this on my pad and the ‘friend’ is being played on my tv from Netflix. I will never be moved on from friends because nothing’s more natural than this show. Thank u friends for being our generation’s show n I am blessed that i witnessed MJ and Friends on live tv in my 10s and 20s. Nothing gets better than this. Nothing else.

Amy I was referring to when I was actually watching the whole episode so I didn't really know what was coming. There was a faint thought like "hmm wouldn't be great if Aniston just popped out out of- OH MY GOD"

I've been binge watching Friends for all 10 seasons over the past few weeks and I can easily say after hearing Rachel's voice nonstop, her impression is on POINT.

+Isaac Newton Nah, that's just human nature, doesn't mean you don't have a life. If you are a huge fan of something, then many years later you see someone who was part of that come back for a spoof or reunion, you tend to freak out a bit. Haven't you ever had that experience?
