James does a deep dive on Tesla to back up his investment thesis, James also does a deep dive on Solana to back up his investment theses but James neglects to deep dive BTC and the huge issues it faces rather concentrating on spot price, buying info and charts. I'm surprised at this, James has a big team around him so there should be no excuse. James could have so much bias towards BTC that he cannot look at the potential downside risk. The Bitcoin Cash Podcast just put out a great video highlighting the issues with BTC and the likely outcome. James, your content lacks due diligence on BTC imo

Weekend pumps are never real - for a year or more any weekend cme gap gets filled almost every Monday. Retail get shafted. Btc likely to seek out the 52k liquidity before moon.

About the story of the homeless: I moved to Canada from Germany and I remember the first time giving some money to a homeless person here. Instead of saying say thank you (they approached me by the way) or be grateful, the person looked at me and said, "That's it?". Honestly, I was a bit shocked after that. Ok, you come up to me, I give you something for free and now you're are you mad at me? Wtf?

Instead of getting offended try to see it from their perspective. They are hungry, maybe cold, have nothing. Likely want enough to get them a good healthy meal and a place to stay. spare change might not get them from A to Z or even part way there. It's better to feed them a meal and take them to a church or shelter where they can obtain some form of consistent care.

I agree with your perspective. That sort of behaviour will just turn people off offering, as they will feel they may get into an uncomfortable situation. I would have asked for the donation back. Then, found the next homeless person, in their eyesight, & given it to that person, whilst looking back.

I had no interest in money, so it took me 50 years to realize a fiat "savings account" is more of a "losing account". Based on history, BTC is far superior as a long term savings, or "gaining" account. Perhaps the best storage of wealth?

@@Scorch428 If one considers long term over 4 years, there is very low risk. Plot the returns for a greater than or equal to 4 year investment. There is almost no point in the entire Bitcoin history where there is not a positive return. Average is about 15x, but i wouldn't expect that due to diminishing returns/log growth... If a person has time, a don't sell and don't worry strategy may be appealing.

⁠@@Scorch428long term this is nothing to worry about. Corrections and consolidation periods during bull runs are normal. People somehow get nervous (or even spazz out) during periods of sideways activity when they should instead be zooming out.

I used to work with homeless people. In countries with support structures to get them of the street it’s best not to give them cash at all. It just keeps them on the streets and supports addictions if they struggle with those.

Germany and Gox will be a nothing burger. Hopefully newbies use this dip wisely, prolly won't.

I’m bearish on Bitcoin long term. Yes, it’s an asset that the world needs, (no owner no manipulation) but the long term mining rewards are just purely unsustainable. Unless Bitcoin (which this is a pretty dumb reason if you say it out loud) unless Bitcoin goes to like 800,000 a coin, mining will non be profitable and I just don’t see people mining to lose money just to “secure the network”. If it’s not profitable, it’s not a good use of anyone’s time.

Hate to say the reality is most people I know (work at a tech company, family, outside activities) are not into crypto. So the crypto voting block is relatively small and probably already polarized. I don't see how a desire for big banks to get into crypto will sway the emotions of your typical liberal voter. As well, the very conservative friends I have are not pro-crypto either - they see it as gambling at the horse track. I do think over time this will become a larger issue for voters but we're not there yet, just like our lack of retail investors so far this bull run.

Totally agree, some of the smartest people I know with regards to; moving to the city young, getting proper jobs and buying property early - most have left city life now and have invested their London property gains into the hands of money managers and stocks ....they're intelligent people, clearly doing very well but 'refuse' to even consider the future merit of BTC ....it's bonkers but I trust the next few years will be a telling awakening - more fuel!
