Weekend in Lincolnshire | Petwood Hotel | Mablethorpe Seal Sanctuary | Dambusters
I spent the weekend in Lincolnshire with my mum for some R+R. We went to Mablethorpe, to Skegness and Sutton on Sea. We ate, we drank, and we relaxed. It was a great weekend, despite the weather and I genuinely can't believe how nice the beaches are up there.
*Fish and chips are actually from Salty's in Mablethorpe.

Thanks. Dance machine was the best, or maybe the Batman splat a rat thingy. All that and we managed to win enough for two little bags of Haribo :).

Me too! There's some on the pier in Southsea and I never even think to play on them. The ones in Lincolnshire made me very happy though.
This looks so pretty! My boyfriend is from Lincolnshire... we definitely need to spend more time there :)

Nor me. It's a great place for a road trip - lots of fields, pretty roads and nice beaches to end up at too.

I read your article about going to Cuba. I appreciate your honesty about the whole trip, I have never really been able to paint a mental picture of what that place is like but now think I have a more realistic image after reading it.

Oh thank you for your comment. It's definitely not all joy, and happy colours and happy people. But of course, that's what most tourists see.
