I live in Delaware, where we take Driver's Ed in 10th grade as part of our school curriculum. The first time I went out, it was SNOWING! I was so nervous, especially since I was previously a passenger in an accident where a car hit us on my side. Anyways, my nervousness definitely showed, and my teacher got irritated with me and made me switch places with my classmate, AND he postponed the driving portion of my class until summer. In the end, it worked out better for me that way. Don't be discouraged!

aww remy, it's okay! it looked like it was pouring like crazy and it's hard to drive in rainy weather. After 3 years of driving, I still get scared to drive in rainy weather. It took me a few tries before I got my license too. Don't be discouraged!!! you got this!! :)

Oh girl don't even sweat it! I failed twice and it definitely feels awful in the moment but then you definitely realize that it will all be ok! And also not for nothing, and I may be biased but I feel like male instructors are a bit more forgiving and lenient. Just my personal experience haha. But you'll get there! Also that suitcase is super cute! What is it? And finally, I feel like you need to list all the places you go to in NY so I can check them out too hehe. Everything looked amazing and just a quick trip from jersey city 😁

Drivers tests are just so stressful! I got the lowest passing score my first time and think he just passed me because he felt bad. You’ll get it next time!

Im so sorry you failed! You probably are a really good driver but the rain makes it very difficult especially with how much it’s not your fault though

Like a lot of tests, the driving test really only measures how well you take a driving test. I recognize the need to make sure the driving community meets a minimum set of standards but that test is… well.. performative. The state only gives the appearance of judging a persons skill. I think everybody would be better served if they had a device in your car that measured your performance over a period of time ( a month? 3 months? ). Seems like with all the advancements in auto technology that could be possible? Anyway sorry you had to take part in the group driving trauma experience we all share. 😰

There's the written test (testing your road knowledge) and then the road test which is driving in the car

It took me three tries to pass my driver's road test but I finally did it a few months ago, I definitely cried a lot too after my boyfriend went out of his way to practice with me and take me to the DMV and I still didn't pass, so don't be discouraged, you got this!! 🤍
