Q: What didn't go well this week?
Tendonitis on the top of my right foot for multiple days, I still have it as of writing. Suspect it's due to my dog park shoes that are losing their form after washing/drying and repeated walks on it. It tends to swell up most in the mornings, but after taking a few ibuprofen tablets and stretching during the day it gets much better. Suppose it also doesn't help that when you are 40 everything just takes longer to heal vs when you are in your 20s. Will give it an ice bath tonight and see how things go. But hey, both legs still work so that is something to be thankful for.
Q: What went well this week?
This week I upgraded the artwork in the foster kitten room. For the longest time, any LED string lights of fake vines would be torn of by the kittens once they are 6-7 weeks old, and I'd have to replace them every few months. This time, I decided to hang/tape up some art that they can't physically tear down, and added a mirror in the streaming room to give it more visual depth. Excited to see how this turns out when I get the next batch of kittens (Season 7)
Q: What will you do differently next week?
Throw my old shoes out once the new ones get here. We are having that two steps forward one step back type of recovery which is annoying, especially when you need to let the dog out 3-4 times a day to go potty.
