What a great idea. I love that it's cheap so we can spent our money on ECD stuff instead of tools

I bought an acrylic sign stand at the dollar store and put a magnet sheet in it and it works well. Everything stands tall and visible.

Great idea! I bought a set of knives that came with a stand up magnetic cutting board. I wasn't going to use the magnetic board for the knives so I put it in my craft room and have been using it for my dies... I love the standing up magnet. I also took a lazy Susan and put one of the Michael's Simply Tidy* 16" x 16"cubicles on top of the Lazy Susan & put magnets on all three sides... It sits on my craft desktop... I can put project planners on the inside of the cubicle and have dies on all the outer sides.

Thanks! But your idea sounds pretty nifty too! Thanks for sharing. Do you find it takes up a lot of space? I'm not sure how big your lazy susan is.

@@AnnetteGreen The Lazy Susan is slightly smaller than the 16x16 cubicle... I have a wide, long table/desk, that I work from.... I think on a regular desk it wouldn't work. but I'm sure with a smaller cubicle from somewhere anyone could do the same thing... I've found that my knife magnet board didn't have enough room on it... I'm a bug... lol I also have my Gemini cutting machine on a lazy Susan at the opposite side of the table...
Great idea Annette. You sound so much better❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

Thanks Belinda. I am LOVING this little thing. All afternoon, after I made the video, I worked on a project and started to lay my dies on the table and caught myself. Then popped them on to the stand and smiled. 😊
Great idea and thanks for sharing! Good to hear you are sounding a lot better 🙂

Awesome Cheryl! I hope you enjoy making yours!
Great project, i always love new storage ideas! I have used photo frames in the past for this & also flipped open cd cases too, as could be closed to keep dies safe when I was travelling between my demonstration days, but this has much more space for dies by utilising both sides of the board! Fun to make too, thanks for sharing.

Great, thanks! Mine is definitely intended for holding dies as I'm working on a project here on my table. I store them in the frosted envelopes with the same magnet sheets. Thanks for watching, Naomi.
Great make! It will be nice getting the dies up and off the crafting area to give more room to work:) -Carleen

Thank you so much for doing this demo!! I have been using 2 small magnetic shallow bowls, but the sets are getting mixed up and they all get stuck together. I just made your stand, and it will be much easier to keep sets together, but at the same time separated!

I have th Tonic one, and it's humongous. It does take up a lot of craft table space. Yours is double-sided, which gives more "real estate."
@AnnetteGreen
Ай бұрын
That Tonic one looks really nice, but does look rather large. I didn't even look at the measurements honestly. I'm glad you liked my double-sided idea. I just love this little thing.
I've been looking at those magnetic boards. I can't believe they are so expensive. I bought a magnetic bowl, but the dies get jumbled. I like your tool for using multiple die sets.
