@@OkNow86 Farrah was absolutely fired. I actually work with the father so don’t give “facts” that you don’t know Lol. Latoya and LaTavia did not quit but they violated a contract which in essence is quitting when you know the repercussions can be termination. Regardless, I wasn’t getting into the semantics of the legalities of the things you’re not fully aware of. I was applauding them for getting the order of events with the girls correct. 👍🏽

There are also several different videos of Beyonce saying Farrah left. Lmk if you need the links. Also, LeToya & LaTavia disaffirmed their personal management agreement and so the group’s manager decided to let them go. They did not leave, like I said. So what now?

Their story have been the same all these years even til this day in their recent interviews here on KZread on why they were REMOVED from the group. The girls done acknowledge everything and have moved on. Hence their reunion pic at Beyonce’s last tour.

This is their first Hot 100 #1. "triflin" is black slang for "you ain't shit", basically "everything you do is probably shady, or disrespectful, or awful" The other girls do not sing a ton of lead. I think they handled one or two leads on their first album, but there are no leads by them on this album. If i'm not mistaken

TLC and Spice Girls owned the 90s. DC owned 2000-2002.

Letoya luckett has great songs. Shes my personal fave out of everyone. Shes the only one besides beyonce that has a platinum album.

This was actually Destiny's Child's first song that went #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 Chart! I think this might be the first song that gave them mainstream attention outside of the r&b world. And yes you had the other members names correct. The original 4 members of Destiny's Child are Beyonce Knowles, Kelly Rowland, LeToya Luckett, and Latavia Roberson. They met as kids and grew up together. Michelle came in later and Farrah doesn't technically count since none of her vocals are on any of their songs but she was in like 2 videos. All of the members have Grammy's from their work in Destiny's Child except Farrah for obvious reasons (she didn't sing or write on any songs). All 5 members (Beyonce, Kelly, LeToya, Latavia, and Michelle) recently reunited and took pictures together at Beyonce's Renaissance tour! Some even think there might even be another reunion of some sorts in the works but Im not sure about that just yet. Fun fact: Beyonce's mom (Tina Knowles) made all of their outfits in this video. She actually used to make pretty much majority of their performance outfits. Also, her mom used to own a hair salon when they were kids and they would all perform for her customers.

This is the original 4 members of Destiny's Child. Beyoncé, Kelly, Letoya and Latavia. Letoya and Latavia left the group and Michelle and Farrah were the new members. Farrah didn't work out, and it left Beyoncé, Kelly and Michelle.

Farrah was in 2 videos (say my name and jumpin jumpin’). This lineup is the OG lineup. During the OG line up they mainly used the standard group structure of having one main lead. On the songs on the album the destinction is more clear but they are more background vocals. It wasn’t up until the group became 3 that everybody actually sang lead (full verses) Beyoncé still being the lead as she was still the destinct voice. You’re favorite lineup will mostly depend on when you turned into the group but DC3 did reign longer. I’m a mid/late 90’s baby so the DC3 lineup is obviously my fave. But OG DC had BANGERS! The writing on the wall is top 2 DC albums for sure.

The hair salon was based on Beyonce's mom's salon because Beyonce's mom was a hair stylist at the time. Beyonce, Kelly, Latavia and Latoya were original members of Destiny's Child. This song was earlier in their career. Michelle was an extra for one of their songs earlier so it was a no brainer to add her later when Beyonce and Kelly were the only remaining members. Farrah was added same time as Michelle but soon left. Then we had the trio Beyonce, Kelly and Michelle.

From 6:08 to 6:22, that's all LeToya and LaTavia with Beyonce ad-libing

Yes this is the og destiny child member. latavia had the curly red hair. And letoya had the side bang and Beyonce and Kelly is obvious cause I mean they were in the group until they disbanded. Now around the time when letoya and latavia wasn't in the group they actually wind up trying to go find people that looked kinda similar to toya and tavia. They found Michelle I believe From one of the singers Monica music video I believe or backup dancers idrk that's what I heard. And Farrah was in this video in the clip where latavia had threw the comb like somewhere in the beginning. Now the reason Farrah wasn't in the group too long was because of Beyonce dad. And she was happy to be in the group in the beginning but she wanted to leave she didn't want to do it no more. Now keep in mind there is a video on KZread about dc and all the members

Tired in that context is an old slang term in the 90s. It basically meant you're not good for anything. You're not helpful. Trifling means someone who is petty or exhibits low behavior. These were slang terms as much as they have their proper definition. But in this context these are idioms from the 90s. It would have made sense to anyone listening it to it at the time.

Cecred is Beyoncé's hairline business / brand. And her mum being a hair stylist, makeup artist and owns a salon gives me an idea that this is part of that. And the first customers of Cecred reenacted this scene.
