Same here I’m 32 and been wanted to start cosmo school for at least 5 yrs but kept pushing it back 😮‍💨 but I am gonna just jump in and do it. Schedule to start school in March. Spot almost secured only have to do the app fee! I’m so excited. Happy for you!

Omg girl I feel you I’m 31 and starting PM this year! I did tour the school when I was 20 however it was t the right time for me. Now I feel ready and can’t wait also when I recently toured I saw older girls and was like ok I’m good lol

omggg yess i felt like I was so late in the game! BUT i realized it's never too late to start again and there are so many people from different age groups but all striving for a similar goal! Life is not linear, theres twist and turns and I trying to enjoy every little moment as its the journey that makes it all worth while.

Oh my gosh, I thought you were in your early twenties, you look great. Good luck at school :)

Hi Liz! omg we all sucked beginning🤣 I had no cosmo background experience so i learned everything from scratch. And still continuously learning, there is just SOOOO much information! I started at 31... age is nothing but a number :) don't let it stop you if this is something you really want to do❤

I get to start cosmetology school next month, I’m super excited but also super nervous.

watching this makes me miss cosmetology school i graduated in august of last year i just got my certification on Monday so exactly an ago now I also have an interview already for a salon tomorrow and I'm so excited for it.

I f-ing hated cosmetology school after like 2 weeks and ended up quitting. lol. But I always wanted to go back. I just hate the damn monotony.

aww I'm sorry that was your experience and lead you to quitting. I definitely had my own challenges at school, but I had to keep telling myself "ignore the bullshit, and tunnel vision! eye on the prize. this is for you and no one else". I hope if it's something you really want to do, you go back and achieve it! :) don't let other people or the politics at school stop you!❤

How is your experience? Going to tour the Pasadena location tomorrow. Thinking of taking the night class. Are they really strict about attendance?

Hi Andrew! Very cool!! What time are you coming in tomorrow?! I attend the night class :) In regards to my personal experience, I LOVE SCHOOL! Of course they have tweak and work on getting a few things better but overall, my own personal experience is great. I'm loving every moment so far 🤗 And yes and no with attendance, it's all up to you. Since school depends on getting our 1000 hours, we do have to clock in and clock out. I would try not to miss so much attendance just because your contract is up until a specific date and if you go over that date and still have hours to make up, you will be charged hourly for that. Definitely something you should ask about when visiting the school. Can't wait to meet you if you register here in the Pasadena location😊
