This could very well be a case of Beauty and the Beast. What if the monster turns out to be the cute boy Wednesday is crushing on or her sweet roommate? Maybe even Pugsley!

Despite the excellent point about being yourself in this movie, they never quite explain what that is, nor point out that there can be things about you that should not be considered a part of you. They never point out that there can be bad differences and good differences, and that not all different is good. They don't explain by what code you should be walking when 'being yourself', because you obviously don't just get to do whatever you want. It's true, i don't let others define me, i let God define me, and if others speak for God and speak for goodness and the truth, whether they believe in God or not, then that's when i'll take their advice.

@@mwillblade And "Gomez" is a last name, not a first name, and Addams is not a Latino name. The Addams Family characters did not have first names in the original comic strips, they were simply called The Addams Family, after their creator, Charles Addams, who's also not Latino. The characters weren't given first names until the 60s TV show, and the names were chosen for their weirdness, like Wednesday, Morticia, Pugsley, and Fester. Mr. Addams' first name was chosen arbitrarily. Charles Addams suggested naming the character either Repelli, which is Italian, or Gomez, and actor John Astin was given the choice between the two, and he chose Gomez. But the name was literally pulled out of thin air. The Addams Family have always been a creepy family that lives in a gothic Victorian mansion, similar to The Munsters. There's nothing Latino about them. A lot of people have first names that come from cultures different than their own.

@@charliefarmer4365 Where, exactly? Her last name is Addams. Her father's first name, Gomez, was an arbitrary decision made by the TV show. The characters originally had no first names. How many Latinos do you know who live in Gothic Victorian mansions and dress like the Munsters?
