Hairstylist here...steaming won't hurt your hair....lipids like oils are great for helping hair condition but not really growth...growth happens when you are healthy and eating enough protein. Do what you want with the fringe...it's your hair and it grows! Just enjoy it. Also, tip for the camera...put a bright sticker near the camera to remind you to look at the camera rather than the view finder (or a little arrow sticker etc). Glad you liked had fun at the wedding. I love 2 videos a week and really look forward to them but just don’t put a lot of pressure on yourself about them. Instagram seems so unimportant these days and I know myself and others don’t even bother with it much anymore and as for TikTok I wouldn’t even waste my time. KZread is way better 💖

I have issues with packing decisions too. Definitely don't have a fringe cut in - you suit the long layered look. I think a weekly video is good and you can always do a bonus mini video mid week. They don't have to be 40 minutes long. The wedding looked amazing.

I really love two videos a week and don’t use TikTok or Instagram. Well to be accurate I don’t have TikTok and although I have instagram I don’t watch content on there. I much prefer KZread as I feel more connected with creators on there. However, please do what suits you best and know that I’ll always watch your KZread videos regardless of whether it be once or twice a week! Xx

I really look forward to watching your videos so two is perfect but fully understand it is time consuming for you. I shall be packing for a holiday in Cornwall at the end of June. It's funny that a lot of people outside Italy think that we Italian are all tanned, have dark skin, dark hair and dark eyes. Actually, this is so far from the truth. It really depends on our ancestors. Italy has been conquered in the past from Arabic people but also from people from North Europe, that is why many Italians now have pale white skin, they are blonde and have blue or green eyes. My mother for example is really blonde. About weddings, there is no tradition about time. People can decide to have the ceremony in the morning and then celebrate during the day or to have it in the evening and celebrate till late. It's up to the couple who is getting married to decide ;-)

Love your videos and also know that you need to strike a balance in your life. From a viewers perspective of course I enjoy more. From your business perspective, you need to get paid, which is probably most profitable from YT over instagram and TT, but only you and your family know those details and you decide what mix you need to run your business. It’s summer and social obligations are plentiful, which creates stress to keep up with this sort of work and not miss out in life…so cutting back would maybe allow your life to be richer and more joyful. Whatever you need is the best option. I will be here to watch your content no matter how often you post ❤️

Maybe use parts of your vlogs as shorts on Instagram? Alex used to do all the editing but he has started a new career now so isn’t really involved in this business anymore! I think I’ll take everyone’s advice and stick to 1 a week but do 2 if I have the time!

I love listening to the vlogs while I do my spring cleaning or dishes, but I feel like a strict twice a week schedule isn't important. If some weeks there were two, others just a vlog or just a cooking/reno vid, I'd be a happy bunny! It's always hard to get that balance between income and time to look after yourself, isn't it? ❤

This is a great idea!

If you’re struggling going back and forth between 1-2 videos per week why not do 3 videos in a fortnight/6 videos per month! Your income won’t be cut so drastically then! And try not to stress about videos ‘per week’. A week is just an easy time scale to fall into but if it’s easier to post a video every 4 days or so and that doesn’t quite fit into a set amount if videos per week then try that!:) not sure if this is going to make any sense at all but just a thought! 🥰 love your videos, however many there are!! X

I love the weekly vlogs but whatever works best for you. Perhaps only do two a week if you have something specific to share e.g., a food vid? Just an idea ❤

Exfoliate, when our youngest went to Florence to study Art, for 10 months (part of her OCA University) we promised to visit in early spring I knew I needed a bit of base, so we have bathes and salt scrubs so wow, even skin and it lasted 3 weeks and no ranges of darker or lighter, enjoy, We went to Florence then Florence is also in Tuscany, the restraunts in florence were lovely, and Pienza whereto lovely staff asked us about a cheese course then made us a plate that answered so many questions. Orvieto a mountain top city, trust me you don't want to drive there, let someone else park your car, your can walk anywhere and then Porto Ercole on the sea, great food, lovely people and the sound of clanking stays and ocean waves and sea birds was so relaxing, I spent summers by Lake Ontario riding horses and sailing, swimming, fishing, so that made Porto Ercole a familiar sound track, my opportunity to regress, and my sweet husband loved discussing menu's with the chef, it was off season but He lives for clam pasta and that made him so happy! And me too cause otherwise Im the sous chef chopping veg and doing desserts and starters etc!

Maybe alternate weeks you do two. So an on and off schedule. Would give you a week in between where you can just do one. A little more downtime in between while still keeping your advertising up at a decent level. Safe travels ❤ Have a great time at the wedding 💍.

You could do a two-week-vlog when you have a different video in the other week… then we could keep up with you but you wouldn’t have to do two videos a week 😊

Could make 2 shorter videos a week, then it’s less time editing for you? Or as some others have said switch it up! Some weeks upload 2, and others upload 1? Could help with mental load in times of the month when it’s more difficult to concentrate etc too! I think I mentioned in a comment before but would love to know the breakdown of work as you’ve previously mentioned others working for you. Logistically how does that work for you? And does Alex still do some of your editing? Love your videos & your cookbook ❤

I think it’s a great idea to mix up your video schedules, maybe try 6 videos per month, dropping 2 will give you a chance to try new projects but hopefully not impact your income as much? Who could blame you for wanting to work less, you live in such an amazing place for summer and it would be a shame not to allow yourself more you time and time with Alex and especially be outdoors! All your subscribers will be in and out over summer too due to holidays and events so take advantage! Xxx

And make this short video with very few edits required as well keep it simple 👋🏻

What about one video per week for the vlog. Then add in the once per month food. And once per month reno. So you're cutting out a quarter of your content, rather than halving it.
