    two things: the “lows” she’s referring to are when jay-sun cheated on her, and the reason they’re getting married so soon after a year is because he proposed as an apology for when she caught him cheating to “prove” that he loved her. either they’ll get divorced in 6 months OR they’ll stay together to keep up appearances but he will inevitably cheat on her again while she’s pregnant with their first child

    @@arcshuttle To be honest, I think a similar statement about black people wouldn't be racist either, as long as everything is in good humour. Sensitivities are different though. The whole racism thing has been blown up way beyond proportion. Jokes and tropes aren't racist IMHO. Real racism is about hatred and exclusion, extending it to things like this just waters down it meaning, like those crazy people who say that all whites are racist (which ironically makes THEM racist). I just think the same standards should be applied to everyone and everything.

    Everything about this is just so hilarious I'm in awe. Like the way this moment of talking about how deep your love for the other person is being so scripted, the awkward pauses for laughter after the jokes, the casual classism, the fact that they didn't even know each other one and a half years ago and are getting married now, "before our friends and family and God", the intense energy of this sort of unhealthy relationship where the partners don't even seem to like each other all that much, "tedeah"... I say this without any exaggeration, but this is a masterpiece.
