The whole racism thing has been blown up way beyond proportion. Jokes and tropes aren't racist IMHO. Everything about this is just so hilarious I'm in awe. Like the way this moment of talking about how deep your love for the other person is being so scripted, the awkward pauses for laughter after the jokes, the casual classism, the fact that they didn't even know each other one and a half years ago and are getting married now, "before our friends and family and God", the intense energy of this sort of unhealthy relationship where the partners don't even seem to like each other all that much, "tedeah"... I say this without any exaggeration, but this is a masterpiece.

i love how it's like vaguely threatening the audience with "AND THAT'S A LOT 😐"

It’s fucking scary how good her characters are

This woman knows how to play every type of person that makes me feel very tired.

Maybe its a US thing, but where I live, I've seen several uncles and aunts of mine, be in such close, loving marriages where you can see their love for each other super strong, like its not the cliche bullshit, but the caring true love type thing. they're like an awesome team. Maybe since American people tend to switch partners kinda fast, you can get bored? irdk why its like this for so many people, man.

@@az6604 The issue with American marriage is that at the first sight of trouble, the couple simply divorces. A marriage is supposed to grow strong with more time and difficulties faced, but this never happens in the west. Any time a marriage is no longer convenient, the culture and system encourages people to just leave.

You just know they get divorce a year later

The way she so perfectly captures the lack of depth of emotion behind the words every time she does this character is so on point

You capture the essence of the people you describe so well. I know so many people like this x.x
