Found out the hard way that wax sealed envelopes require extra postage. (at least at my local post office) So learn from my mistake & assemble ONE save the date/invite and bring it to the post office to get an idea on the postage required, then assemble the rest. Happy planning to the rest of you all planning!!

So sorry that happened to you!! i made sure to weigh mine before sending to make sure it was under the limit for one stamp!! but great advice for everyone else planning!!

what a nice save the date card! and what a work with the stamp thing to close it... I just text the save the date 😅🙈and my wedding card by mail later.. with a hart sticker to close it from SHEIN. 100 hart stickers for €1.25... very nice looking

Do you mean the addresses printed on them?? I don’t have a video put I used the envelope feature in Word

@@SarahPopolo yes! Printing the addresses on the envelopes. Did you have to tape them to the copy paper? Haha I’m sorry for the silly questions, I just didn’t know you could print on the actual envelope

@@stephanietom_md I didn't tape them to the printer paper. I just took all the actual printer paper out of the machine and places the envelopes in to paper feeder(I did it one by one just incase). It took me a few tries to get it exactly right so many make sure you have a few extra envelopes!

Trying to decide on the wax seal. I love the personalization of it. Did you have to have the save the dates hand canceled at your post office? I've read so many nightmare stories about wax seals, but if you have them hand canceled, then usually it's fine? Idk, but I think I'll just do it anyway lol I basically talked myself into it while writing this. I also bought a stamp with my fiance and I's names because I was not going to hand write that lol great videos!

I didn’t have to do anything special for my wax seals!! Just sent them normal I’m the mail! i did weigh them to make sure they were under the limit for one stamp! i would recommend testing it with one invite before sending them all! 💕

Did the wax seal get ruined in the mail? I want to do this as well, but I'm getting mixed reviews on if they hold up during the mailing process.

That is a great question! I asked a few of my friends and that received them in the mail and they all said the wax seal was still here. I obviously wasn't able to ask everyone but I don't think I had any issues. I also made sure the envelope was completely sealed and flat before putting the wax on. Might have helped to make sure it didn't get snagged on anything.

How long did it take to receive them after ordering? I ordered a sample invite and it’s estimated to take a week before even shipping out😅 don’t want the same thing with the real ones

I would say it took about a week or so to get to me! i ordered them months before sending to my guests though so I wasn’t too concerned

It was a lot of testing! I cut paper the size on my envelopes so I didn’t waste and then just kept shifting the text and testing until it was center

Did it cost extra to mail because of the wax seal?

How did you get them for that amount? Can you tell us what to do please? When I went to the site, it showed $.70 but when I clicked on it, it shows $2.96 each. For 80 it was $almost $240

hmm I just checked it out and see what you are talking about. It didn’t do that when I ordered my invites and stayed around .70 per invite. Maybe you can reach out to them and see why it does that? Sorry I can’t help 😥😥

I agree with reaching out to them…my daughter & her fiancee did get them for less than $1/magnet. Their web has some glitches when working with it. As soon as you start working on your save the date, save it & save it often!! I love how their magnets turned out & we are now looking at invitations. I did order a sample invite for free…it is really beautiful, but I don’t love the actual font quality on the paper. (It isn’t crisp & clear). I am not sure if we are going with them for invites. My daughter did say that her fiancee had a lot of problems with the web site when ordering the magnets but he eventually got it to work! (Also, I noticed that when you actually start personalizing a product & add it to your cart, that is when you will see a reduced price!)

@@skiyogagirl Yes!! the website isnt perfect for sure!! make sure you are saving very often!! there were a few times my invite got messed up and wasn't saved properly!
