As a right-handed person seeing you write with your left hand... I don't know how to explain how I feel. I find it very rare to see someone write, draw or whatever with their left hand.

@@liachngome too. People always ask how I write like that and it gets so annoying. That's why at one point I was practicing how to write with my right hand so when ppl asked if I was left handed I could just switch and say no with a smug smile
Pixels are now "pickles" I don't make the rules 😂 On another note, this was super helpful! Thank you so much! 💕
i'm currently binging all of your videos in prep for making a short comic, i love your channel! i really appreciate artists like you that are transparent about their process, and i'm glad i got here before your channel inevitably gets big lol

@@TambriArt no problem! also you mentioned in your video that you had some trouble with the fill bucket tool because you have a sketchier style, is that still an issue for you? there's a brush that i use on clip studio that could help with that
Seeing your process was super helpful!! I always get overwhelmed trying to start a webcomic and I noticed it starts to happen at the storyboard phase, it’s hard to get my ideas down digitally so seeing you do it with pen and paper makes me want to try it that way! Thanks for the awesome process video!

I like the method you use for writing scripts. It’s very simple and organized. I’m going to have to adopt that.
Thank you for the indepth video!!! Really really appreciate it!
Love the long videos! I give up easily so hearing someone talk about the process is a great work along motivator.
been looking at a lot of webtoon vids recently but i adore yours and theyre so helpful! definitely using that script method..
Ayyyy lefty buddy! This is pretty helpful! Very nice detail to your prosses!
I didnt need to watch the bubbles part, but your art process is so mesmerizing I didnt even realize XD
Thank you for making this! It's a great breakdown and it's really refreshing knowing you take a lot of time creating these episodes, now knowing how much work you have to put in to get a good result.

This was very helpful, thank you! Question: How do you decide on number of pages to split into at the export process? Is it dependent on the width and height only, or also on things like color count or filters in the episode? On another note, I’m sure everything will go with the new baby! 😊
@TambriArt
Жыл бұрын
No problemo! 👍 I just use the height as a good way to decide page count. So however many slices are made at 2000px height decides my page count. Since I paint instead of cell shade, I don't really pay attention to color count. And I just use filters as needed. This prologue episode definitely required more than a usual episode would. Thanks for the questions! 💕

"I loved your video, one question: how many things did you prepare before making your comic? PS: I wish you the best for you and your baby" Aw thank you! As far as preparation goes, I had my main characters designed (Reagan and Quill), a lot of reference photos of the beach town to draw from, rough bullet points of the main plot, and then the first three full episodes scripted with storyboard thumbnails. I had just the prologue and episode 1 completed when I launched it, and by the time episode 2 was ready to be posted, I would be working on episode 3.

I just outline everything in a couple of base colors ( like skin, hair, clothes,etc ), and then I magic-wand select one of those base colors and shade on a new layer thats clipped to the base layer. Maybe I should make a video on it? I feel like visual representation might be easier to explain.

hi there! I have 16gb ram installed on my pc. with the task manager open, clip studio paint reports using about half of my ram (6-8gb) on a fully finished episode (all the text, painting, color adjustment layers, etc.), but that's on a 24,000 px height page, so I imagine it would be less for a smaller canvas, and probably even less if you're going for a less painterly art style. Hope that helps!
How can I make a webtoon if the story takes place more than one place cuz I been struggling with the background a lot lately
@TambriArt

More than one set? As in there's a lot of location changes? For my own comic, I have quite a few locations and currently just make them as I go. Each location has a small idea board to keep me on track. I hope that helps. I'm currently working on a drawing backgrounds advice video. Hoping to finish it up by next month. 🙏
Pickles? Is that the Vlasic or Heinz standard of measurement?

I have a story a multiple stories in mind but one of them include a set of black characters and im a little scared on what poeple are going to say or think and they are my babies and i love them, i dont want to offend people of color do you have any tip on that?

The only tip I'd have on that is maybe vet the characters with some black artists you know or are mutual with. See if they can offer some advice or help with accurate portrayals.
