Great lecture Bernie🦾🦾. Why do you prefer 10-12 lb fluorocarbon as the mainline instead of 12-20 lb braid? How deep can you fish with 10-12 lb fluorocarbon mainline while having great bite detection? Just curious because there are groups of people that say that if you use mono/Fluorocarbon mainline you don't have sensitivity, strength, and hookset ability. What's your input based on experience?

Locating different species series would be super helpful. I have the gear, just no idea where to go.

The navionics smartphone app is great. I use that to decide where to cut my holes. I use a dewalt hammer drill and the Nero mini 7in auger and it cuts holes in less than 5 seconds. I'd never want to switch to a gas auger. 2 batteries will let me cut more holes than I need in a day. I was getting 10 holes with my HT polar 8in and it took a minute or so per hole but that auger is garbage. Way off balance so it wobbles all over and cuts uneven holes. The Nero cuts perfect holes without any effort.
