Watch this FREE 1-hour webinar with art director and animator Christian Rama aka GameXanime. In this presentation, Christian will talk about the process of creating an anime scene in Moho and highlight the importance of the storyboard or rough keyframes as a support to animate a rigged character in a cinematographic way. He will explore different files as case studies to see the process in action and discuss how Moho tools can come together to make Rigged animation compete with frame by frame animation. Following the presentation, there will be a Q&A session.
About the presenter
Christian Rama aka GameXanime started learning animation 12 years ago, directly with Moho. Driven by a passion for Anime, he was always wondering if there was a way to create them in Moho. Christian’s learning curve was quick and started importing Anime scenes into Moho to explore the software possibilities. This vision led him to create his own studio to help people create their own Anime. Today, Christian wants to prove that Moho is a solid solution when it comes to creating Anime.

Thank you for this inspiring webinar! This unconventional pipeline takes Moho from a whole new perspective. I want to try to work with this approach, it is a very valuable experience.

I don't know this doesn't really capture anime outside of art style. Anime is very limited budget and is usually animated on 2s and 3s sometimes even 4s at 24FPS. The only time I know that anime ever uses 1s is for fight scenes or comedy scenes that are supposed to look very cut out. Rigging and point animation does work well but the biggest problem I see people make with Moho and anime style is using all 1s and smooth interpolation without much thought being put into the overall timing.. Also you guys really need to fix the bug for your no AA options. A lot of anime rely on disabling AA and using third party plugins from PSOFT and OLM for compositing and 95% of those plugins don't work when AA is enabled. I saw a post on your guys forum discussing this to. When you disable AA and set the line width below 2 it becomes dotted and Moho doesn't really distribute the pixels properly either since they look really bulky..
