The backend access to data and the VS Code editor open up lots of functionality with Velo. I don’t think people in the comments realize that and Wix as a whole is almost 20 years old! And these DIY tools aren’t taking dev jobs but are great for freelancers and agencies working with small to midsized businesses

@@WebDevCody definitely. When I found Wix Wiz channel I was blown away with the functionality of the platform. His channel is mainly for coding with Wix/Studio using Velo, API, etc

How about the pricing, when would I have to pay for any feature

I just checked it out! it's a monthly payment. The cheapest (basic) is $16 a month! no bad but definetly not free!

Depends! You can build for free and deploy for free but if you want to choose your domain, remove ads, and use certain features like eCommerce then you would choose a paid plan

Your comment doesn’t make sense at all. Plenty of my Wordpress sites load in less than a second. It’s the hosting that matters and what plugins you install.

Are you kidding man. All wordpress websites i have ever seen are slow to load. Wordpress by nature is bloated

@@EyobAbebe-jb7lw Wordpress is PHP and MySQL. That's it! That's all. So if you're having loading issues it's on your setup. My sites built with LiveCanvas WP were getting 100 scores and .4 ms load times. Look up Bricks Builder for Wordpress also. Nothing else to really discuss. Data doesn't lie. Peace out.

Been handcoding Wordpress sites since 2012. Anyone who says all WP sites are slow doesn’t know a thing about WP and is an amateur at optimizing sites. I let them live in their own opinion while my sites fly!
