Just discovered your channel, awesome video. I'm still fairly new to MESBG but I think the problem with the Ringwraiths was that you were using the wrong spell. I think pretty much any of the other spells would have been more useful in that scenario

These battle reports are so great, love the ways you guys do these! Keep it up lads some of the best on KZread for the SBG 👍

A massive rule everyone misses with might- if you use might on the first part of a 6/6, 6/5 or 6/4 roll it also boosts the second part

I believe fate rolls can be used for anything

Nazgul are great but this scenario is stacked towards the good for obvious reasons. A tactic here is to use compel to move the hobbits out the way so you can just try and chase Frodo. As Long as they don't keep resisting lol

It sounds like the nazgul take an acquired strategy for them to work well, great game too and look forward to more. In the words of MK flawless victory to the good 😂

You mentioned you started play in 2002. I assume it was with the blue Rulebook journey guides. I like the original rule set and narrative scenarios. Do you think the new rules and the Quest of the Ringbearer are better? If so, why?

Hey friends, you can most definitely use fate points to prevent magical wounds! Also you can 100% move, use magic and continue moving however i think that you're supposed to go model to model instead of all at once.

Battle at Amon-Hen would be a good skirmish battle (actually two skirmishes). I don’t know if there are already rules or if you would have to work some up.

I do belive the nazgul will win as one of you said that hobbits are bad in the previous video (even tho bilbo massacred the fellowships three strongest members)

Not sure which armies you guys have, or really what all the faction are, but it could be fun to do a historical fight with your wheatertop set. Elendil and Gil Galad vs witch king and Angmar. You could also do Gandalf vs ringwraiths.

Why don't you do the warg skirmish outside the west gate of moria first?

The Wraiths are currently BS. The mechanics with their Will are bogus. Quick fix for that is to just add a one in front of their value. They were all Kings so I feel all their fight values should naturally be a bit better, even more so with Angmar. Feel like they should have boosted terror stats and/or some kind of ability connected to the shrieking that lowers an enemy's or multiple enemies' courage or defense. Otherwise it seems it is pointless to use them. As far as tactics, could the Wraiths have come from multiple directions or did they have to all come in through that way? Because had you been able to come from four to five different angles, it may have made it more difficult for Frodo to immediately retreat to safe distance.

I think is the ring. The moment nazgul arrived Frodo should have had a hard time not using the ring. I don’t think the game captured that crucial fact

I have never been too much into story conflicts. To me they are set in stone so any deviance is annoying and I can't shake it. I'll gladly watch you play through these but eagerly wait to meet your warbands and to hear their story and witness their journey :) I face this problem with that Living Card Game too. I don't like to play with cards that would team up Bilbo with Gimli and Denethor with Legolas. My brain hurts every time.
