I can lift my Honda Gold Wing 1800 myself. I am 5 for 2 and 130 pounds. We were taught how to do this in a motorcycle safety class when I first started to ride. Oh ya I'm 78 years old.

I’ve been living vicariously through you guys for a couple years now. All I can say is I would trade one of my weeks for a rainy, windy week where you’re anytime. In my opinion, even the bad times you’re having are better than a lot of people can wish for. You guys are blessed and I love all three of you, and of course Tara, I’m praying you feel better! 🙏🏻🇺🇸

I rode Gold Wings most of my adult life; my last one weighed in at 980# also! Those crash bars helped with a more gentle landing I'm sure... There is a well-documented process for standing one of them back up by yourself. It is very possible as I've done! I know you had crew help and it got done but consider learning how to do it with Tara and Daisy cheering you on! Ride safe..!

So glad you enjoyed what you could. We are building a new house in Columbia, just south of Franklin and Leipers Fork. So much to do there and the roads are great for riding. Pucketts is a fantastic restaurant too so you should try it next time. The one on the square in Columbia has music several times a week as well. Feel free to get in touch with me next time you are nearby and I'll take you on some great roads to ride.

Chad, a cover on a motorcycle is more like a parachute for capturing the wind under it and tipping over a bike. Been there with my 1200 Goldwing and found out that it's far better to take the cover off when the weather goes south like it did for you. I had my half cover on my Victory Cross Roads in Louisiana last summer and ran into some truly obnoxious winds - took the cover back off and the bike did fine. Got filthy, but never came close to being able to tip. Beautiful small towns - thanks for sharing them with us!!

Hope the new year is a good one for ya'll and hope you medical issues stay small or go away, Tara. Ya'll have done this enough to know that there is a lot you can control, some thing you can't control. Make the best of what you've got or drive yourself crazy. As for washing the Rig, I wash & wax at the same time, with the waterless Aero Cosmetics Wash Wax/All. It's just on aircraft, so I thought I'd give it a try. I now also use it on our 'towed' and both come out looking like new. Put it on with one, dry it off within seconds after, never had a problem. I even clean my fibreglass roof of our Tiffin with a regular quality car wash, then use the Was/Wax all, and you end up having to be careful, as it's slippery after doing it. I too have a long pole as you do, and similar mats which Aero Cosmetics sells (I too have the same pole you have Chad) thus making it easier to do the roof. I also have the 303 which I use on tires and other rubber components on our motorhome, making them all look like new, yet holding off the UV rays, albeit I also have tire covers if staying for several days. Check out the reviews on this product when you have some time, I got mine on Amazon.

Last March we had just pulled into our RV spot in Kerrville, Texas, barely got set up and a wicked storm came roaring in. I could hardly even open the door on our Solitude to get inside. About a minute later we heard an alarm chirping steadily and didn't know what it was. About 10 minutes later after the craziness had passed I went outside. The wind picked up our brand new CVO Street Glide and moved it about 6 feet. I realized I had made the mistake of putting the bike cover on it and it made it like a darn sail on a ship. Sorry that happened to you guys.

Great town and great way you present everything. I am surprised that you did not see any old gasoline pumps with the glass on top. Of course they are older. You might ask why the glass was on top and the fact is people did not trust the gas station so the attendant, that was me, would pump 5 gallons of gas into the upper part of the pump and let it go down into the car so you know you were getting what you paid for. Boy have times changed…

If that was this week that the bad storm went through I was watching the radar and never seen a front like that. When it was in the Midwest it was snow up north to heavy rain in the south. Once it hit the East Coast it went from Maine all the way to Cuba, it was VERY scary looking! Watching the video again I see it was in August from the date on the parking receipt.

If you come back to that area of TN again. I have a person that is very cheap to ceramic coat an RV. He does all my vehicles. But he does private planes too. So easy to clean with that on there and make the paint pop so much more. It's also like adding an extra hardness layer to your paint. Not sure if you have that coating yet or not, but if you or anyone in the area of Nashville would like his contact info just reply to this comment. Thanks and enjoy your videos

Our first Nashville visit wasn't the best either...they had a lot of construction going on plus the weather didn't cooperate!!..

Hi guys, another great vidio. We are enjoying your travels as we are not able to travel now due to taking care of my elderly mother. Do they still offer shuttle service into Nashville? Thanks again for all you do.

Sorry that your bike blew over I hope it wasn't damaged too badly I noticed it blew over on the right side opposite the side stand. I have a cruiser temporarily setting outside, I put a jack stand under the right side of it so it wouldn't blow over. I've seen a few motorcycles that were blown over it's always on the right side.

The bike is good. 👍🏼 The highway bars up front and the bars protecting the bags saved it. Not a scratch on the paint, but the front brake handle had the end broken off. Still functional, but we'll need to get that fixed.
