Reps has been the way to battle out the sneaker resell culture. Some reps are straight up 1:1 now, depending on the source. Easier to wear at the end of the day without as much care than the real deal.

I’ve had bad craftsmanship on authentic sneakers. Not uncommon. It’s another reason why I like to by shoes in person at a retailer rather than online. Hard to do these days and a lot of retros have flaws

Really good video on reps! Imo I resort to reps when I can't buy a specific pair I really really want for retail price such as the ts x frag lows when it was announced and I took an L, I just thought it looked so sick and it wasn't even about the hype (as what everyone thinks for shoes that cost thousands for resell) I just wanted and liked how it would look on my feet, it was just a really sick sneaker by itself - I cannot and will never even attempt to spend 2k on shoes even if I could afford ten of them, there are much more important places to put your money on - maybe I would if I plan to use it as an investment - but I love wearing my shoes and practically turning them to beaters. Reps allowed me to just enjoy the sneakers that I want and really enjoy them for myself.

Same. I saw a pair of Jordan Low Travis Scott Mocha LAST summer at a flea market outside Philly, this vendor has been there for a while and has some amazing looking reps. Loved this TS Low Mocha sneaker...impossible to the grab real on release day. This guy had it for $140, looked and felt amazing.... I totally would have bought that but he didn't have my size. After that, he moved his site to a totally different and larger location in NJ. One of these weekends I'll stop up there. Point blank...I simply refuse to spend resell...700...800, 1000+ on sneakers!

Personally I wear reps and retail the top batches of reps are incredible quality some batches are terrible tho. If it does not come directly from Nike or a Nike retailer I’m not buying it. Sometimes top tier reps will pass a black light test also no guidelines, stamps or water marks. DO NOT SELL THEM THOUGH

At this stage, and assuming you got a decent quality reps, nobody will know they're reps. The only way they can find out is if you flat out tell them or they get unrealistically close to look at them with stuff like a black light or see the stitching.

Once it airs out the smell goes away. It's mainly because the shoe goes straight from the factory floor to your door and not aired out like a retail pair

I wouldn't say most people "know these" as the "Mocha." They just know it as a brown/black/white pair of high tops/Nikes/Jordans. Sneakerheads and Watch idiot Savants vastly overestimate how close people are observing details of their outfits. As SHEROY says, it's about the _entire outfit_ and not about one single detail above all else. Plus, you can only "flex" so much; if you're "dripped out" in Audimar Peakgay, Chanel, Dior, Gucci, Luigi Viton, Patrick Phillip, Rolex, etc. etc. etc. but if you're getting out of a smashed up Nissan with peeling tint, a spare tire and a bumper dragging behind you ain't nobody thinking you're hot shit or rich. Lets be real here, it's pretty damn cringe to wear _any_ visible logos. You're not a sponsored athlete, brand ambassador or on the clock, don't make yourself a billboard for some globohomo corporation that wouldn't spit on you if you were dying of thirst.

Replica actually feels better on feet.

You can get near flawless reps for between $10-$100 if you buy direct If spending over $100 on reps, your getting fleeced. $40-$60 is what I spend on average per pair including shipping. Usually ship 5-10 pair at a time I got a pair of TS Reverse Mochas last Christmas that would be would be tough to tell even with an authentic right next to it and they were under $50 and nearly a year early. Lol

The quality control on shoes have been terrible, if you don't wanna pay these outrages prices for shoes, buy the reps. Your gonna wear them and you don't have to worry if they get messed up. 👍👍👍

I'm going to put you on game player, also keep in mind that there are ways that you can restore the reps too. If the paint starts to wear off, there's acrylic paint and mod that can keep the sneakers long lasting

Look at all these early reviews on pairs of Jordan 1 Chicago and Taxis everyone's frothing on? All reps. No one knows you wear reps, they're that spot these days. I would rather wear them than feed the scalpers that take the retails away from consumers then put them in your face at a premium. They're over priced retail let alone on resale market. Buying inflated priced shoes is dumbass. To spend your hard earned money you have to enter draws, raffles and apps. I will start off by saying this, I was a sneakerhead since 1991 I was 15 years old at the time, and I am now 46. Yes I still love my air jordans, my Air maxes, and so on. However, I'm at the age now where I don't want my money to go in places where it's not really deserved. I don't want to keep supporting Nike and keep feeding their greed. However, keep in mind that whether they are authentic or replicas, the same people manufactures both. Yes I still like that keep a shoe collection, but my money is more deserving towards my daughter. In addition my house is more important. Remember those who are flashy are the most broke people in the world. Needless to say 90% of my kicks are authentic while the rest are replicas and I actually enjoyed replicas more than the official ones

Thanks for sharing your insights with the younger generation and allowing them to see there are more important things than just a large sneaker collection. I personally am fortunate due to the revenue from this channel, im able to use and invest into clothing which doubles as content and also use my main source of income to put towards my savings

No one gunna know they're fake but YOU'LL know they fake...and we are all our own worst critic. If you're spending $200 on fakes, you can get a dope real pair of shoes for that price and feel good about wearing them.
