Another great video. So peacefull to watch. I enjoyed seeing the changes in weather in Alberta. You have a nice herd there. Good'ol Alberta beef!

We use quite wean nose flaps on our calves. It's a bit of a pain as you need to put them in the crate twice but makes weaning peaceful so you get a good nights sleep. Also calves don't really stress which we found helps them keep growing well. Amazing videos and nice to see someone else take time with the cows, rushing is no good for anyone. Hopefully we will be out in canada soon and enjoy your wide open spaces.

Suppose a guy could vaccinate them when putting in or taking out the flaps as well. Thanks for watching.

It's been a while 😃, now we just prices to move. Might have to buy a plow and a combine to make the big money 🤑

@@AlbertaRanch well grain farmer will need those prices next fall with fertilzer, chemical and fuel doubling in price already

That is a beautiful start to the video!!! As expected, cows and calves are looking good!! Japanese Quarter Horse is the best way, Definitely better with some help, but....

Bringing all the cows and calves in and sorting them all alone can’t be easy. We do it with 3 or 4 people with no broken ribs. The calves look awesome!

sometimes the fence line works great othertimes it is terrible.... just depends on the cows.. some times we ween on pasture and then cows dont beller at all other times they break out.... we have been feeding our cows a tmr when they are with the calves to help get calves eating then pull cows out of pen

I find the easiest method is a truck and a trip to town. 😁 However I think prices are going up over the next few months, so we feed.
