I find this sad. Her thinking that she can’t fit in his world. He grew feelings for her and she was so focus on herself that she can’t love the guy. He kept trying to win her heart and then he left because she didn’t feel the same for him. He left to please her and then she ends up thinking of him and can’t forget him and then goes looking for him. I find this sad.

It's not uncommon, he is a rich kid and she comes from a poor village, it's not that she did not 'wanted' to love him, it's because she doesn't want unnecessary problems, drama etc I don't think it was the case in this movie but in a lot of cases a cinderella story is badly looked upon (especially in China's high society) and risky for her, so instead of getting her and her family into unnecessary problems, she decided it would be better to stop it before it started, but in this case I guess fate decides otherwise?

I don't understand why didn't Yunjin didn't just accept the money from Chung when she needed to pay off the debt. I can understand why she would feel guilt and want to earn it herself, but she ended up getting it gifted to her by Chen anyways, so what was the point of that? Of course that would just offend Chung and create more trouble, so why not just accept the money from Chung in the first place?

U won't believe this but it's actually quite common especially in Asia. People will bully and tease u for having good grades coz they think u fall into the typical nerd category. I was made fun of in school by few people for the same reason. It's sad because students nowadays will pick being dumb and failing in exams rather than being studious and working hard coz they think that makes them approachable and cool.

Some poor women just want a rich guy to flex on who she thinks is beneath her as it will garner more attention and she can get all the stuff she wants. Or set him up to be assassinated and take the riches for herself.

Like almost all Asian movies and shows, it's easier to plot when the dude's rich. It's a concept that's been done to death. I've yet to see one where the main character is from a lesser status than the girl. That would be much more interesting.
