I’m 27 years old and when my dad goes away for work I’ll go over and have a sleepover with my mum 😂 I don’t think there’s anything wrong with a strong mum and daughter relationship. You’re not going to have your parents around forever so it’s best to spend as much time with them as possible, especially if you don’t live close by to them.

My first question. At least one of them should be working full-time. If he can't work for some reason then he should stay home with the children while she works. Having a hard time finding sympathy if both of them are sitting home with the kids and living off government assistance. If you don't want to work and raise multiple children then don't raise multiple children. Is he the father of the children? She says he helps so much but I'm not seeing it. If he's the father he doesn't get a gold star for helping out around the house. Surely there is something I'm missing.

Yasmine is stunning and classy. She's openly warm-hearted and sweet whereas Sheila is more reserved. I wouldn't have my guest change dirty nappies, but Yasmine is such a good sport about it. This shows how unspoiled she is in spite of her wealth. Yasmine would make a great wife and mother one day.

Why isn’t Miquel working? He’s young and fit. Shayla acts like she was forced to have children at a young age. It was her decision to have children young and the consequences of her own actions. She tried to act like she was better than Yasmin imo. I thought watching this show I would dislike Yasmin because she had every advantage in life but Yasmin was respectful and kind. I ended up not liking Shayla at all!!

Also if you are stressed about choosing whom to buy for then proceed to have another child. I know a few people in the us where I live if you are on benefits you have to prove that you are looking for work to continue receiving those benefits.

Question: Your parents took you away from Mexico to have a better life, but you turned around and not just had one baby out of marriage, but two. You didn’t make good use of choices to have the life your parents wanted you to have. So, not sure I can have pity on the mother in this episode. Whereas, Jasmin, may be not so frugal - she clearly is not taking her advantages for granted. Therefore, this episode is proving that with good choices made, you have more opportunity and with bad choices you have less.

I know it’s been many years since I’ve seen this, but I watched one of their episodes on KZread and I thought then and I still think now that knowing their situation with the food instead of buying her 10 hours of driving lessons she could’ve bought them food for probably six months for what she paid for that. she probably has kids of her own now and as soon as she left, she probably went back to her old daily habits of spending all that money and didn’t even think about that afterwards because they never do

The driving lessons will lead to more independence and productivity. Shayla needs a reality check and Miguel needs to get a job. Besides, they were paid to do this. If she hadn't paid for the lessons, they wouldn't have done it themselves and continued victimized themselves....it would have never happened.
