I love how it’s “our”, never “my”. “Our domain”, “our camp”, I love how she never claims it’s HER camp, it belongs to the people she’s trying to shelter, not her, she’s just protecting it. She’s not trying to claim her dominance, or trying to shoot someone down, she’s trying to defend, trying to keep the people loyal to this camp safe.

*What i like about Gloriosa's Villan Characterism is that she acts a LOT different compared to a lot of the other villans, not only just from MLP, but also a lot of other shows aswell.* 1. Even tho shes cleary getting possesed by equestrian magic and basically going insane because of it ( like we can see in 0:43 ), she never altered her only objective, that was to protect her camp at all costs. 2. Even with her going insane by the magic, she NEVER harmed anyone in that camp, and even tried to convince them MANY TIMES that shes not only just trying to protect not only them but her camp ( 0:11, 1:25 ) while also trying to show them how breathtaking nature can be, in hopes to show them that they dont need to be afraid of it, (0:24, 1:16) shes basically acting like a over protective mother, literally a overprotetive mother nature spirit, like mother nature shes treating the students as her own fauna and will protect them from ANYTHING that can harm them OR her nature , anything that may come from the outside. I honestly strongly believe that she is NOT a villan, and her character was honestly a very subtle way to try and explain to people that even when mother nature can look cruel and deadly, they were trying to show to people that nature's will NOT hesitate to retaliate when influenced by outside forces, Gloriosa is basically representing Nature itself while Filthy Rich is representing humanity, and the outside forces, and what those influences can drive nature to do, no joke one of THE BEST ( if not the best ) "villan" not only in this franchise, but one of the best i've ever seen, shes so underrated...

Gloriosa had great potential, she’s different from the rest of the villains. It was always “Ours” not “Mine” or “My”, she saw it as her and the campers camp, not as her own. She even tried to prove to the campers that nature isn’t made to attack, but to defend, and that it’s beautiful, not harmful or ugly. She just wanted to protect them.

Honestly, I love Gloriosa so much. She just wants to protect what she loved, and would sacrifice or risk literally ANYTHING for it. One of the best MLP villains so far.

It's called a well meaning extremist. Her goal is good her methods not so much. Doesn't help that the magic is screwing with her mind.

I love how this song gives a double meaning to the camp's name, the phrase "We will stand for Everfree" is pretty self explanatory (Gloriosa protecting her camp) but that phrase can also be read as "We will stand forever free" which gives this song and her intentions a WHOLE OTHER MEANING/PERSPECTIVE. That she sees the urbanisation of the camp as taking away her "freedom" and that completely rummaging the camp would make it so it can't be taken away, even though her doing this is visibly causing more harm than good. Man, I love wordplay

I truly love how Gloriosa is just being hurt by magic, she's not a bad person. She actively tries to protect others. The entire song is about keeping the camp AND the campers safe. She doesn't concider the camp her property, only using words like "we" and "our". She just wants the camp to be fine and her goal didn't change, the magic just made her go crazy with how she wants to achieve that

I always saw it as her way of saying "don't fear the natural process of nature." Vultures only appear when... Well, there are dead animals for them to feed off. Death is literally the most natural concept, one that Mother Nature is very used to.

1:36 now that's my favorite part. It gives me chills every time I listen to it. It just makes me feel powerful ya know? Like I can feel the power she has. This is one of my favorite songs.

that voice is so powerful and strong,I can't express how much I love it.Regardless if someone likes mlp,the song is gorgeous with the build up and passionate voice.You can literally hear the anger,confidence, psychotic softness and passion for her cause. She's like "I've tried nice,I've tried begging, I've tried believing in the good of people but if that just isn't enough I WILL fight to protect my beloved memories!"

Sometimes I like to think “right here you have me to protect you, within these walls of thorns” as Gloriosa knowing what she’s actually doing. She wants to protect them, but with thorns, meaning she knows it actually hurts them even though it is technically protecting them and the camp. Then again it could just be her referring to the whole “every plant designed to defend” thing idk. Also I love how she sung that it’s so pretty

I’ll be honest, I like to think that Timber’s story about Gaia Everfree was real and that this is Gaia herself possessing Gloriosa via the gems, hence why she never responds to Timber while transformed and why Gloriosa doesn’t remember anything after she’s defeated, unlike the other magic possessed villains in Equestria Girls. It would also explain why this Gaia looks like the one in Timber’s story even though WE are the only ones who saw what she looked like; there was no camera in the story and Timber claims he made it up, so Gloriosa would have no way of basing her transformed appearance off of anyone, so it’s hard to feel like the nearly identical appearances are a coincidence.

i like how you can tell unlike most villains in the series/movies, she has good intent with what she’s doing. she simply wants to protect the camp she cares so dearly about. it’s also obvious she has no intent to hurt the campers there, as seen with the one who tried to cut down the vines and instead of attacking him, she just makes the axe harder to access.

Gloriosa reminds me so much of Charlie from Don't Starve Together. like, the flower theming, their usual upbeat attitude, their eyes and their bright smiles, it's so uncanny. they even both don't get fully possessed by their "evil" sides (Gloriosa choosing not to harm anyone and sticking to her motive of protecting the camp, and Charlie finding a balance in her good and bad sides to become queen). and while we know for sure that all Gloriosa wants is to preserve the campsite and the nature inside it, Charlie's motives are a lot more mysterious and unknown, though i can assume she has similar motives as queen of the Constant. she's definitely planning something big to hinder the survivors in some way. i really love how similar they are considering they're two completely different characters from completely different medias :D

It’s almost 2020 and I’m still listening to this ,-, but really, I don’t think she’s like those kind of villains. She kinda just wanted to take care of the people, and nature, even tho she was a bit manipulative and overprotective and scared the crap out of people .-.

I just love how near the end the change "let them come just let them try, im not about to say goodbye"

later on in the movie she practically gives up her body to the shield she never says “me” or “my” or anything self centered she doesnt attack anyone unless attacked first, in which she simply distracts through means of force even though shes obviously going mad, her goal stayed the same throughout the entire movie she was already overworking herself prior, then she takes it a whole step further just to try and sacrifice her being just so the campers can continue to have fun the only time she gets aggressive without being attacked first is 0:40 the only time she gets mad is when rarity later on says she’d prefer her weekly spa trips shes just overall a chill character. not really a villain, not really a hero, moreso a corrupt deuteragonist, not really an antagonist either. shes just kinda truckin along

The orchestra is amazing if you concentrate on music and not her singing. Don’t get me wrong her voice is awesome but the orchestra is often over looked.
