Here’s a suggestion for keeping the legos off the floor when the kids are building with them. Get some cheap nine by thirteen (or whatever size works for you) foil pans. The kids can put the Lego pieces in the pans while they’re using them and then just use the floor for building. I did this many times when I worked in daycare and it was a lifesaver.

@@OurTribeofMany you could stack them together and put them in a plastic bag somewhere out of the way. I worked in a classroom with limited storage space and stacking the trays together made them more compact. 🙂

You, Sarah, are an industrious, joy-filled mom of many with extensive "hobbies" because of your involvement in the lives of your family as well as all of the homemade products you create for consumption (i.e. sourdough breads, etc. and all of the special seasonings you create in order to put in the best spices without all of the added preservatives), as well as non-consumables (i.e. candles and tallow balm). This is not even to mention your "hobby" of your livestock on your farm. You have more than a full time "job" just managing your family as well as your KZread channel. You are a blessing to your family and to your subscribers.

Get mats for the Legos. It keeps the Legos closer together. Some still get off, but it is easier to direct the child to gather them back together. They can move around, but they know where to go if you say get them back on the mat. I love your children. I know this will work for them. You're on your own with the kinetic sand😅.

I make tallow for cooking and skin cream . Don’t let the beef bits start frying while rendering the fat .Put the slow cooker on low and ladle the liquid fat off with a soup spoon as soon as it melts. I do this slowly thru the day and let it rest in a pot. Once the beef in the fat starts frying the flavour saturated the tallow. At the end of the day I heat the melted tallow back up and strain it thru large paper coffee filters. It gives a beautiful snowy white tallow with a neutral smell.

The rule is you keep your materials on the cookie sheet. It really helps define their space as well. No one can take anything from your tray.

I love tallow! I discovered it several years ago, as my face has a dermatitis condition that makes it very sensitive and dry. No other product has ever worked for me, and I’d tried a ton including prescription. I used to buy the expensive balm, but now I just order tallow online and add a few drops of lavender oil. Lavender is strong enough to take out the cow smell with only a little:). I enjoyed watching you make it!!

So this is what i do for pure tallow. I wash it several times. Like around 3 -4 times. How you do that is put it in water in a pan on the stove and boil it about 10 min. When cool to touch put it in fridge until oil forms on top. Take that solid oil off and repeat process with fresh water about 2-3 more times and your tallow will be white as snow. Not hard at all. And the first time i do it i take tje broth and freese dry or dehydrate and i haven't wasted a thing. 😂

I’m pretty sure there’s a method where you add water to the warm tallow then shake in a jar with lid and turn upside down when it cools you can pour the water right off. Looks really clear
