Landon did an amazing job driving in that slop
Another great video. Does anyone else hit the like button before watching the video? The wrecker really needs some detachable fenders. Just a piece of flat steel with square tubing welded to it, that fits into sockets on the wrecker and is held in place by a couple of pins. Easy on and easy off.
The head phones are worth their weight in gold 👍👍
Landon's a rock star, dad's still dusting himself off and the boy's already loading the wrecker.
Well, I know you don't have a favorite, but that Landon, what a good kid he is. A fine young man.
13:21 - A "completely unnecessary dig" that'd bring a tear to Rory's eye.
The rescue that never ended. You guys must have been so tired. Well done!
I loved your "U Turn" in the tow truck. Nice work, and I love the family feel your channel always displays. Thanks!
Ok! So how many people started rocking forward and back when the roll back was getting un stuck? Lol I was one. Started laughing at myself.
Now how many of you were rocking back n forth trying to help Paul get the flat bed out that mud? Yea, me too. Landon is showing himself to be a valuable asset in the family biz. And he does it with a smile. Not a lot of folks left in this world like Paul. Great example for everyone.
I love watching your videos with my 3 year old son!! He always asks for "truck movies"
Good Morning Fab Rats. A trick we used to use on the dirt oval to help with mud. Make up a mixture of diesel and liquid dish soap, and spray a nice coating on your whole undercarriage just before going into the mud. helps a ton with cleanup.
I bet no one has ever called you a stick in the mud Paul? Landon doing some slick driving avoiding the rope!
You know when youtube isn't producing enough entertaining content elsewhere until you find yourself laughing hoping for this video be longer with their stuck roll back..😂😂 dang it . They rocked it unstuck 😢😅
Spray as much of vehicle with Pam, the cooking spray, it keeps the mud from sticking real bad. Mud Washes off easier. Maybe you'd need a 1g bug sprayer bottle of it. I used it on my motorcycle many times.
Paul, you and Landon are the masters of recovering vehicles stuck in the mud.
Our sweet boy graduated high school, went off to college and now lives and works about 600 miles from us. Enjoy every minute with your children.
Nice start to a beautiful day. The old Tow truck is amazingly agile. 😊
That road is definitely a mess when it rains. Thank God for Fab Rats Paul and Lando with the Rat Rod Tow truck! This truck is awesome and so capable on these recovery's.
Looks like you need some of them Matt's off road fender extenders. For your tow truck as well .

Stopped by on my back to Arizona after spending 4 months in Idaho, met Paul and a few others, took a couple of pictures, bought a hat and T-shirt what a great bunch of guys, darnit didn't see Michelle ❤
Nice work getting all those tourists out of the mud, you sure have all the moves down to a T with Grampa Shirms Truck!!
Paul, the Fab Rats wrecker is a beast! It does what you designed it for with ease! You and Lando make a great Father and Son team! I know Grandpa Sherm is smiling down on you! Til next time, take care, and we'll see you on the next. 😊
That front dig had me grinnin' from ear to ear haha, and getting the rollback out without assistance was impressive too 😏
Our family owns a vacation cabin off the North Fork Road. We all know when to stay off that road, which is anytime it is wet!!!
Mud means you are making money 💰 - Good work 🤘🏻 Fab Rats
TOTALLY IN YOUR ELEMENT TODAY!!!!! WAS FUN WAYCHIN FATHER AND CAPABLE SON WORKIN TOGETHER!!!!!!!!!!!!! BEAUTIFUL!!
Great job(s) with the mud pulls. The best investment you have made thus far are the communication headsets. Such a brilliant way of communication on the job.
I see you have learned the " necessary front dig " from Rory and performed it very well . Careful , don't get stuck , wait .....

Paul. I must say that sure looks muddy, but man it looks like fun.
Love that front dig turn around Paul. Now I know it's time to twin stick my NP205. Thanks for the great video.
My son and I just visited your place Monday 10/16. Grandma Lolly showed us the muddy mess on the tow truck. Nice to see how all that happened! We sure enjoyed seeing your part of the world too. Thanks for the PRO travel tips on the previous video. Hunters old buddy ZAGE showed us a great time repelling on the slot canyons. Southern Utah is far more beautiful than any video can capture.
Nothing like going for one vehicle and getting four instead. Almost made it five with your own truck! Good job Paul and Landon!
Landon’s living the van life. You guys should do a off road van after you finish the old bus.
Look at that front dig 👍
That was a nice front dig!!
what a cool dad Lando has, hope he appreciates him.
Amazing how many people don't realize the dangers of mud. Hopefully the tow truck made some good money today. I seriously want to install a twin stick on my 73 K20 build now. That front dig is amazing.
What would these folks do without Paul and his off-road wrecker? Paul is performing one heck of a service for his and the surrounding communities presumably for "free." I have never seen anyone give him money for pulling them out of these bad situations and he's doing it all on his own time and on his own dime. What a humanitarian and all around decent guy!
The wrecker sounds awesome. In the 70s in high school I had a 62 corvette with a 396, a healthy cam and headers. Memories
After a bunch of work, To get back, Load up, and then to get stuck in the Roll back turning around is just a "Cuss under your breath" or out loud typed moment! LOL #BuiltByBo
As a flatbed towing operator, I can strongly recommend that you utilize your wheel lift to manipulate the hydraulics, and the wheel lift will push you away from the hole
Looks so easy when you know what you are doing. Many moons ago we had a world champion golf player, Gary Player, who replied after a world champion win, when a reporter commented ,whilst interviewing him, that he is very lucky it seems winning so many major golf tournaments. He replied:"The harder I practice, the luckier I get."
Hi Guys, I used to love racing on the mud oval tracks we had here In Merry Old England, you either got your car prepaired right or you never. I used a Finnish-made tyre called a HAKAPALITA an older style snow and mud tyre with lots of block-type treads that I likened to a bar of chocolate? fantastic grip and those following my car complained that the mud I was throwing off my rear tyres was hurting them - LOL I just said IF you had both the grip and power you could overtake, but you never..Anyway, just thought, If LANDO was a guy who "roves" about, would he be a LANDROVER? - Sorry Have a great day all.
My favorite videos are when you are out with your boys 😊. Oh by the way, Robbie said to tell you that Fred needs exhaust. Badly
One muddy mess and you two took care of it like the pros that you are.
It’s always thrills and adventure here. Fab Rats rock

It's always wonderful to watch Fab Rats working or having fun! I don't need to win anything @RealFabRat. I have won seeing wonderful views of Utah, places I have never visit! Everyone place take care and enjoy your life!
The tour companies need to have their vehicles "fabratted", so they can get the tours, "handled" on muddy days. I'll bet Paul could make some pretty decent changes to those vans. May not be super pretty, but they would be capable.

Driving a large front wheel drive van, towing a trailer in mud isn't the smartest move. Or at least I think it's FWD as many are.

@@johnt.848 great for front digs though.... If even a 4wd truck gets stuck and needs help, you better have a serious rig to tow. Like Paul's. I've seen some capable vans, but not on this video!

That is what Paul’s bus is going to be for. Completing the tour after the tour companies van gets stuck.
Don’t y’all dare ever make an apology for that wicked sounding machine! Love a good sounding motor and great lopey idle…have a rather large cam in my daily and wouldn’t have it any other way. Thanks for the video and good luck washing that truck Landon.
They say when it rains it pours great video keep up the good work and great job with the recovering God bless from GA stay safe
Rollback recovery. Paul and the power of the lead foot. Don’t know why everyone gives him grief for it. Works great…
Landon did a great job and love the way you coach him. Always a blast to watch.
Nasty mud out there. I like the ramp truck getting out.
Landon is gettin it done son! Paul is such a good dad. Great video as usual!
A situation that should be avoided if possible ! And nothing like rescuing yourself ! Especially when very tired ! Thanks for sharing .
Lando may not be a coffee drinker now, but judging by the look on his face as they are on the muddy road to the stuck'ees, it's that "Shut this thing down I haven't had my coffee this mornin' yet"!!!!
Love the Father and Son action🤙🏽
I would strongly suggest making some quick-attach (haven't quite figured the details on how yet) fender extensions/flares, possibly made out of 1/4" thick rubber, that you could attach for conditions such as this. I know that Matt experimented with some metal ones for the Morrvair and they work well (but I don't know how much time they take to R&R).
That front dig at 13:00 was glorious. Rory would be impressed.
You are one lucky father to have a great young man ! At $250 a tow I hope not a bad morning

ANOTHER AWESOME 👏 SHOW... EXCELLENT JERB on those recoveries... Especially that Front wheel drive with the Rear-wheels Locked up Power Dig Turnaround...
Rory is famous for his Front Digs by necessity on the trails he does recoveries. This week we get to see Paul do one in the Sherminator and we got to see Matt's wife Jaime do one in competition in Rory's trail buggy.
I love how you watch out for everyone when do one recovery and end up doing multiple recoveries.
Something I learned from decades of logging in mud and bad roads and changing weather. I always turn around and back crew trucks etc in when we arrive on the job in case we need to make a fast exit in an emergency or bad weather.
That front wheel drive spin turn was off the charts! Great content and nice to see father and son working together! 👍

It's so cool to watch you guys 😂 I like the way you spin your truck to turn it around it's so cool 😉
Don't apologize for that motor it's a perfect mixture feel like I'm there with ya! Loud pipes save lives
PURRRfectly done on the front dig...👌 Rory will definitely approve...💪🤠
Excellent video Paul!!
Tellin ya Paul… either make a service pit or some tall ramps. Make those muddy trucks a LOT easier to clean off.
You need a sign on that road like they put up in eastern montana "road impassable if wet or snow-covered " I ignored one of those signs once, once. Went 100' past the sign and sunk my 3/4 ton work truck to the axles. An old farmer came down with his tractor and helped, asked me what part of impassable did I not understand 😅

Nice turn around on a dime at about 13:22. You make it look so easy. Nice line at the end..."and we'll come get 'em again!"
use your wheel lift to push you out of those situations. they work well for that usually

I was going to say the same thing. Wanted to see if anybody else said it first tho. Yeah he could use the wheel lift or the bed itself to push himself outta those holes. I’ve had to do it quite a few times myself.

Yup you can use the tow bar or the bed itself tp push you or pull you.
LOL, thought you were going to put the WINTER DOORS on the rescue wagon... Here's MUD in your eyes... 9:51
Wow, sometimes it's just WORK. Thanks for posting another fun (for me to watch) video. If you skip a posting in the next few days, we'll understand.
That mud flying around reminds me of your trip down the Missouri River with the flying fish...lol
It’s been said before and it needs to be said again. “Get ye some mud guard fenders!” Love ya!
need to make you a temporary bolt on wider fenders for just that kind of muddy place. kind of like Robbie did for the Lamo or like Matt did.
Love that truck y’all built. And love seeing your Landon with you nothing like your REAL kids with you. Nothing personal Hunter. We love you too
I drove a roll back for years, I’ve used the bed and wheel lift to push me out many times, just an added thought
You should get one of those battery powered pressure washers and use it to wash off the biggest mud chunks. No need to take it home unless you need the dirt and clay.
Whoever did all the music edits in this vid did a great job!
I absolutely love the wholesome content you guys provide. This is the heart of America right here. Solid values, hard work and family!
The tow truck getting stuck is funny. Snow, Mud Ice are all the same, traction and steering are suggestion.
By coaching your son on the tow vehicle, made me think maybe there should be classes for all of us to learn better on how to drive in that kind of road conditions.
wow that was one heck of a morning for you two. but what a nice experience between Father and son. and the torque of a big block definitely helps in that stuff
Great seeing Landon behind the wheel of the wrecker when loading......Great educational infor from Paul to Landon on driving tech in the slime........Also initial hook up with the vans......And being the first one out of the house to help dad........All good!!
Robby IL do all right. Look how many versions of Paul and Ben's wrecker we had till now. We've watched it all
You should get a 3rd radio reciever to record your radio conversations for the camera/viewers to hear. 😊
Nice work Paul and Landon! That wrecker sure is a beast and I love the rumble of the engine! Good job rockin; the rollback out of the ditch too! Btw, I'm thinking the rollback needs some full door FABRATS emblems!!
Great video and teamwork.
You really need to get the full doors on the wrecker.
My younger son moved to Montana from Ca this past weekend. Thank you for being a highlight in my dark week.
