It’s hard to overload 3/4 or 1 ton trucks. Ram 2500 build is on my to-do list, but apparently the wife gets her Toyota Sequia TRD Pro first. One of these days…

1996 gen 3 Toyota surf, 1kz 3L turbo diesel. First trip with me new suspension would be straight out to the wondai forestry and onto some tough tracks with the boys. Nothing better than hitting the local spots with mates, a few brews, a good feed and a bitta banter. Thanks in advance! Cheers!

2020 Ford Everest. Slowly setting it up as a touring rig so we can do the big lap in a few years. In the meantime, we're on the doorstep of Barrington and the Wattagans, and really keen to do our first trip to Fraser and the Cape. This would definitely help bring those plans to fruition.

The Patrol wagons wouldn't be, plenty of the others would be. The solid axle vehicles only have easy toe adjustment, so wheel alignment not such an issue, unless some dufus puts caster bushes in upside down.... and yes, I have seen a dipstick Patrol owner with a 4" lift and 3 degree bushes installed upside down. Does it wander on the highway? - yes, says he. No shit, says I.

Hey Shauno I've got 2010 mn Triton single cab on stop suspension I'm only 17 but and turning 18 early next year in feburary I can't wait to get my license and see what the victorian high country has for me and a bit of a tour around wherever I can go soon I've been saving money for a strut spacer and new rear shocks so a cheap lift for the triton but I'm so happy this comp has come up for the chance to get one, I'de like to get a nudge bar or a cheaper bullbar swell but ill have to wait a bit for that ahah :) you guys ar so awesome and inspiring for the 4wding community I've got a 77 FJ45 with a 2F sitting in my uncles paddock waiting for me to restore it at some point and hopefully go up to cape York like Shauno did thanks heaps guys keep the inspiration coming ;)

Hi guys. I'm from the UK and moved over 4 years ago. I brought a ford ranger wildtrack on eve of covid and been no where yet. Travelling. I'm a builder in Melbourne and pull around a tradie trailer and have a tub full of tools. I'm looking at upgrades. When things go back to normal. Ill be travelling around Oz with a new caravan. 1989 GQ Nissan Patrol with 475xxx k's on it so the suspension has seen plenty of use. Id love to go to the snowy mountains

Doing that won't help,with your GVM.

2008 120 Prado, doesn’t quite have the clearance on some of the tougher tracks so with a new suspension setup I’d definitely take it through its paces up and around the glasshouse mountain trails

Have an MR Mitsubishi Triton. Love taking it up Mundaring powerlines track, but the stock suspension is pretty limiting. But would love to take the family up North WA for the first time later this year and know they are safe, and that we can handle some awesome off road adventuring while we’re there! 13 Prado 150. Pedders did rear shocks, springs before a trip round western QLD last year. Need the front done for when COVID lifts and I can take my boys to the Kimberly coast.

Isuzu MU-X. 2018. First trip would be VIC High County. Love it there. We’ve managed to go stock on a fair few tracks. We now have new off-road tyres and a transmission bash plate. A suspension upgrade would be most welcome. We go as a family, setup the tent, get everything sorted, then head out exploring. The minute lockdown is over and the tracks open up, we’ll be hitting the tracks (all 5 of us).

I own a 1994 GQ patrol, I'm moving to WA at the end of the year and plan on doing a trip up north, Im very much looking forward to it

2010 Toyota landcruiser 200 series gxl. I have attempted Gibb River road on 3 trips only to be rained out twice and had to return home sooner then expected the 3rd time. So definitely Gibb River road would be my 1st destination.

Definitely some things here that are my I'm keeping my vehicle stock. There are a lot of things I can't do, but I don't have to worry about complications from modifying things.

2012 HiLux. Would dream to join Shauno and Graham on their next trip with my new suspension!

RC Colorado. Planning on heading up to the Cape early next year, definitely over my GVM after seeing this!!

2005 120 Prado. Recently moved over East from WA, keen on checking out the Victorian high country this winter.

2019 Toyota Prado. Would love to go to the Lancelin sand dunes

2019 MR Mitsubishi triton. Would head straight back to byfields up big sandy and over to 5 rocks.

1996 fzj80 series cruiser, got 480,000kms on the clock but still going strong, plan on kitting it out to tackle all mighty big red and widowmaker in glasshouse mountains, also planning on going to the cape next year and wanting to have a go at gunshot

2009 sr5 hilux. Just started setting up the rig with a new tray and jack off canopy so yes the video was very eye opening touch worried the girl will be def over gvm so a Fulcrum upgrade would be mint to tackle the Black Down Tablelands.

2021 Dmax would love to go on a tag along with you guys one day. 🍻

I like how the grey prado had the suspension kit and he was sweet cause he had a couple hundred kilos left on his gvm, then the next white prado has issues cause he only had 200kg left .

@@AlexandarHullRichter nope the second white one was loaded up and "squatting like a dog " from all the weight of all his gear but it had 200 to go , that was bad they said , but the previous grey one was fine cause it has a couple hundred kilos to go , a couple to me is 2 or 3 so it had a hundred extra and was fine apparently . I could only see 100 kg difference between white and grey but grey one had their awesome suspension that have it 100kg extra gvm ha

2008 GUIV Patrol wagon 3litre crd 4 speed auto. Set up for touring winch roof rack awnings driving lights rear draws fridge. It’s currently running 285/70 R17 HT tyres. The next trip I have planned is Notch point near Mackay Qld.

I have a 1996 K1500 Suburban with the torsion bars turned up, I added a leaf to the leaf pack and it fits 33's pretty well. IF I WON! I'd totally take it on some trails around Lake Almanor in Northern California :) Best of luck to the people looking to win! Love the content guys!

I've got a 93 Landcruiser 80 series. I'd love to do a snow trip into the Vic High country for the first trip with the new suspension.

If it looks overloaded: it's probably massively overloaded. If it looks like it might be maxxed out, it's probably overloaded.

That's why some of these rigs should use single cabs as their starting base. Way more payload available standard.

I'm sure in countries where governments mandate certain fuel efficiency standards, they have bare bottom weight capacities so they perform better in city gas millage certifications. Most of those cars would be "overweight" with five adult male passengers in them... All you need to do is use common sense. If your car is fully loaded give yourself more stopping time, don't do max speed runs, and don't try to rally race it in the mountains. Easy peasy, no need to fret...

I have a 2020 v6 Amarok and we are doing a family trip up the cape that should test out the suspension and we will call into all the beautiful spots along the way .

2016 Hilux SR. First place would be up in the High country chasing snow. After last year's lockdowns, I've got a lot of trips to make up for!
