Idk what the motivation was there. Idk about shelley n her ex tho I never saw that episode. I shoulda said, cartman doesnt have the capacity to really care. Those are character plot holes. As a psychopath/sociopath, he has zero capacity for empathy. Any actions to the contrary really is just contrived and poor writing bc those are 100% not actions that cartman would actually take. If you understand eric cartman, then you should understand that those examples are very rare instances where they said “fuck it, we’ll make some episodes that make zero sense.”

Cartman is makima is both the most unexpected yet accurate assessment of his character I ever could have imagined. Pls Trey and Matt give us this crossover

Funny thing about the Cartman Makima comparison: Power was canonically inspired by Eric Cartman

1. Butters is the sweetest character in the whole show, but fittingly he has a real *dark side* on the very rare occasion he's had enough 2. If Cartman would put even 10% of the effort he puts into messing with Butters, and the rest of the gang frankly, into something actually useful I can only imagine what he would accomplish lol

​@@11thkami just to add to this "anonymous" was literally a bunch of 4chan trolls that would go on games to do dumb shit. like literal classic oldstyle internet troll, and then after doing that for so long there was bs going on in (i think it was egypt?) with riots and a bunch of issues, so they organized a protest with the guy-fox mask as a joke expecting like at most 2 people to show up.. there was a few hundred, most wearing the guy fox mask. And then it continued from there to the "modern" version (i.e. anyone who wants to be anonymous is anonymous) but like point is: 4chan is scary lol. They are the living embodiment of chaotic neutral EDIT: changed one of the instances of riot to protest. Specifically "anonymous" had organized the protest to help people in egypt. though i forget a lot of the specifics now and might try to find the documentary that had a lot of the info with the original "founder's" and stuff explaining a lot of it. (founders in quotation's because again the whole point of anonymous was that.. well its anonymous, anyone can be apart of it you literally just gotta claim to be anonymous and then you are. a lot of people try to use that to be scary, and then a lot of people have used it when doing actual leaks or other shit but there is no real central group or leader)

Butters' name comes from the creators calling the animation producer, Eric Stough, "butters" after formally calling him "little buddy" Butters is also loosely based on Stough. Butters full name is Leopold Stotch

Hi, huge South Park fan here. Having a blast watching you guys enjoy it. Here's some more great episodes; Cupid Ye, Cripple Fight, Trapper Keeper, and Up Down The Steroid. So many good ones that it's hard to pick just a few.

I still can't believe eric was able to just manipulate butters in thinking it the apocalypse, rather than just getting butter's grounded the week of Kyle's birthday.

So, funny thing about Casa Bonita: it's a real restaurant and has been since 1968. Matt and Trey just loved it so much that they featured it in one of their episodes. Despite apparently closing in 2021, Matt Stone and Trey Parker have actually bought the last remaining location of Casa Bonita, fittingly, in Colorado, and it's still functioning today after reopening in 2023.
