Being a convert to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, This speach was inspiring of the topic of walking with Faith, by Prophet Hinkley. I'm humbled and thankful for the faith by the blesseing given to me by Lord Jesus. I listen of the path this college student took and due to her loving faith in Lord Jesus and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, her prayers where answered. This is one of the many powerful messages I listen to and I pray to continue using all vessels and I'm humbled, thankful and Blessed for our Lord Jesus Christ which I use thankfully, humbley and Blessed to increase my faith everyday. I'm humbled, thankful, blessed by all members and leader's of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints which I testify is the True Church of Jesus Christ. I pray in Jesus' name, Amen 🙏

Loving the purpose in prayer is given opportunity to choose. Love is the purpose in the design of a choice.

Life is about learning from the things we identify. Your going to learn from failed choices and to make better choices by learning from those failed choices. It's just as simple as that. The power is in putting forth greater choices. Learning to love everything and only create something thats a better understanding about your desires to choose correct things.

I want you to understand that everything in life becomes an Identity. When your identity is positive and very loveing for all things your life is greatly going to change. Love everything in life beyond anything that happens to you or see negatively. You will be the judge and you must look at all things better in your judgements of identity and choices. Love everything and share something with someone and love them purely from your heart. This is what Heaven requires is a pure love that develops pure faith.

This was the only man on Earth that had the capacity to prepare the people and lead the Lord’s church into the next century.

As a member of the church I honestly have not felt the same for Monson and Nelson. I believe that some of our leaders where true prophets and others are just the next in line. It is a difficult feeling being a member but I can’t deny it. Hinkley’s talks are spiritual and loving. Monson I believe had no love or compassion for those who did not walk a strait line. I’m still trying to accept Nelson.

@@LowCountryMTB Pres Monson gave several talks where he talked about having compassion and understanding for those not of our faith and those struggling with their faith or with sin. He also spoke very lovingly about giving people the chance to change and become better and more faithful. His general way of speaking was also very gentle and loving. The gospel teaches that the next-in-line is God's succession. He knew who would be next in line from the beginning and that's why He called the general authorities in the order that He has, so that the next man He wants to be the prophet would be the next in line for the calling. If we believe this teaching then we acknowledge that every prophet is truly called of God and is the real and legitimate prophet of God. I understand your having some trouble with Pres Nelson tho. I do believe he's the true prophet of God, but I feel like He lacks compassion and kindness sometimes. Like in this talk Pres Hinckley said he won't mention the name of the man who's story he was gonna tell so he wouldn't feel embarrassed. But Pres Nelson has on multiple occasions used people (without really protecting their privacy) as public examples of having wrong attitudes or ideas and that doesn't sit well with me. 😅 Hopefully he will continue to learn more understanding and kindness for others as he continues to serve. That's part of why it's important to pray for our leaders, cause they struggle sometimes. :/

I don't usually mention this because I don't want to talk negatively about our prophet, but I know I'm not the only one who struggles with our current prophet Pres Nelson, so if anyone here has similar concerns that's why I'm gonna go ahead and comment this. Maybe it'll help someone. Pres Hinckley was very loved for his loving, kind and caring ways. When he said he was not going to mention the name of the man who's story he was telling so that the man wouldn't be embarrassed, I really appreciated that and I'm sure that man did too. That was very considerate and respectful of him. Pres Nelson has not been so considerate on more than one occasion when using people's experiences. Even if he doesn't mention them by name he tells enough of their stories and who they are that I'm sure a lot of people are sitting in conference going "Ah yeah I know who that it is." And that always hurts me bc it's not right to make public bad examples of people like that. He doesn't speak of others hardships with as much compassion as Pres Hinckley. It's kind of hard for me to see that happening 😅. But it reminds me of a verse in Moroni 9 where Moroni tells us that God's prophets aren't perfect. This is why it's so important to pray for our leaders bc they still have growing to do too and the burdens they bear (and may sometimes realize they've caused others to bear..) aren't always so light. I know Pres Nelson is the true prophet of God. I do have a testimony of that. But I try to pray for him often that he can be a bit more compassionate sometimes.
