Similar experience here, but I ended up buying the Aeron remastered around 2 years ago. Nowadays, a lot of my friends ask for my advice regarding office chairs for their home office setups. 😅 The only reason I know a lot more about chairs and office furniture in general is thanks to BTOD.

Prob paid to push these models, but they may not even test them out either. A lot of these talking points can easily be parroted based on marketing points. Like its so easy to do this w/o even owning chairs so its great you guys are pointing this kind of thing out.

A lot of those random lists you see on sites (Top 10 chairs, mattresses, etc) are usually paid for by at least some of the companies with products featured on the lists. I would never trust them.

They definitely seem to consider many good options. Thumbs up for awesome videos!

I’ve come to trust BTOD and their reviews because they actually use tangible data associated with each chair they review to make solid recommendations. I feel like the Techradar list is full of biased review data and it ultimately will have you waste money on inferior products where BTOD will get you closer to pulling the trigger once for a great office chair.

I've had my Herman Miller Embody for about five months now, and it's been my seating dream come true. I like becoming aware of, so called, worthy alternatives, but have yet to be tempted to regret my choice. Still value your quality reviews, and your spot on critiques of the riffraff.

I would love to see a review of the FlexiSpot C7. I’m seeing it all over the place and seems like a good option at that price point.

I cannot stand all mesh chairs, but I see there are two different C7's. I think there are better choices if you watch the picks on this channel for under $500.

How you ever reviewed the AndaSeat chair? I would love to hear your thoughts.

That's enough for me. I'm avoiding TechRadar recommendations for everything going forward.

As i would like to get a new chair i popped in to Scan and they had that Corsair chair and that felt like a plank of wood!

Looking for a budget all-mesh (mesh seat) chair for long hours. Having a hard time finding one in the tier list. Anyone have a good recommendation?

Good video, I have a question I recently tried a Leap chair and my tailbone was hurting after a couple hours. I think the seat pad is not thick enough or too hard I guess. Do you think I might have better luck with the Fern ? Thanks

Yes, the fern could be a better alternative because of its flatter seat design. Also, you could look at an Amia from Steelcase as well if you’re under 6’3” and 220 lbs -Greg

​@horrorfan6710 Both could work, but ultimately it's best to try them (if you can) and see which chair suits you the best.

What if you could get the series 2, for half the price? I got one for $400, openbox (literally new) from ebay, not many complaints.

Do you have a list of Roberts picks? As in chairs for tall normal weight people? There's a lot of reviews by people below 6'2 and there's lots of lists of BIG and tall chairs but not much for tall in shape people!

It's the same thing on the other end of the scale too, I'm 5.4 (which is a typical women's height) and every review and seat seem to be catered at the 5.7-6 size.

Guys, you should check this chair (thunderx3 xtc ) for the next tier list and including it on budget list pls!

Why? Because their order depends more on how much they were paid by those companies than anything else. steelcase just bid more on 1st place.

So many categories with too much overlap. This would've been a much better set of categories. Best Overall chair Best WFH Best in office Most dynamic Best back support Best budget Best big and tall Best gaming Honorable mentions Best overall after modding bare minimum value alternative gaming considerations most capable lounge hybrid

And even a used Aeron is better than most mesh chairs im sure.

It does feel like a list made for some unlisted purpose (perhaps to get $$$ from the affiliate links.) Certainly not a set of chairs that I would have chosen, especially if they looked at 50 different chairs.

I'm not sure if all their chairs are available in the USA, but I've only ever heard great things about the company.

Well, somebody has to serve the needs of the "I enjoy sitting on a brick" demographic.

iuno why u guys call it legit? when u guys have like 5-10 tier list all conflicting each other. From S-Tier Hermiller aeon in 2020-2023 to like not even high tier etc... in your recent chairs.

Our first tier list was published in 2022 and we’ve never ranked the Aeron S tier in a group tier list. We also have tier lists that look at specific things like seat comfort only, back support only, arm comfort only, as well as overall lists that look at warranty, return policies, build quality. As new chairs are released, ranks might change relative to the industry newcomers, but there are not major shifts. -Greg
