Looks amazing! We just left Florida, but I keep seeing reasons to go back - ha ha!

We have been there before too. Spend nearly a year in Homossasa in two parts of 6 months a stay. It is old bayou Florida. I love Pine Island in that area...it had great food at the food stand when we were down there. What's this that the hippopotamus gets to be an ongoing honorary resident because it's a star? I am a star, and I love Florida, so why can i not be an honorary resident. Lol! I love you all. Our little Pistol looks so contented on Mommy's knee. Hi guys, that was a great park. So much to see there. Too bad you didn't see any Manatees on this trip. Many years ago (back when I had a full head of hair), I was able to swim with Manatees. Such beautiful and gentle creatures. I now know that humans swimming with Manatees creates a lot of stress for them. I feel bad about that. I was really looking forward to the food truck. Have you been to Blue Spring SP. its one of my favorite. Besides being a Manatee refuge it has an awesome nature boat ride on St John river. The fewest manatees Ive seen in my 3 visits was 30+ due to warm weather Love your posts. when in St John river not stream

We have been there a few times but not this year. We’ve kayaked a little there but haven’t taken the boat ride.

Oh…. Dee my lady, grew up in Dunnellon! We go there at least once a month! Her brother Camp has three pieces of property on the river, so I have kayaked a LOT on the rainbow River! Enjoy every minute there…. We do!

I used to live in Homossasa!! The springs are nice and the manatees are cool. Did you eat your shrimp at The Freezer? Lol. Yeah I wasn’t impressed either.
