Exactly were that ice skating is located,back in time was a little park with benches and flowers like you never dream about it. Not far away the line for electric bus or trolley cars just like someone used to see back in time in let’s say Vienna.

I see here Hungarians and Romanians fighting over who had Transylvania first, when actually Hungarians and Romanians are learning different things in school, Hungarians learn that Transylvania belonged to them, while Romanians learned the opposite

you are so sweet
there wasn't a large crowd because you needed a stipid covid pass to get into an open air Christmas Market. There were markets in some villages and towns around Sibiu, some went there instead, because somehow you didn't need the pass there (probably the City Council broke some laws by asking for it in Sibiu). Oh well , maybe next Winter.

It usually is very crowded...this year is less crowded beacuse of the pandemic. They only let in 2500 ppl at a time...only vaccinated. Also Sibiu has less tourists than ever before because if the pandemic.

Everybody knows that the main route for camels starts from Turkey and goes through Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine, Poland, all the way to North Pole, where they turn into reindeers. Duh! 🙂

When you go to a country, first read something about its history. Transylvania is not and did not belong to Hungary but belonged like other countries around the Austro-Hungarian Empire. There are 2 counties where the Hungarians are the majority: Harghita and Covasna. Hungary did not influence Transylvania in any way. In Sibiu there are not and were not Hungarians but a Saxon minority in Luxembourg speaking German. They were the majority until the 19th century. Now 90% are Romanians. Shame on you for presenting this video and for the false way you raise your children. Read and study before you ever set foot in these lands again.

it did belong to the kingdom of Hungary until the battle of Mohacs in 1520. And after that Hungary was split into Eastern and Western Hungary (the centre was in the Ottoman Empire). So Transylvania was actually officially Eastern Hungary. They disputed the Crown of Hungary with Western Hungary (capital Poszony /Bratislava)) Around 1570 they acknowledged Western Hungary (already under Habsburg influence and then leadership) as the heir of the old Kingdom of Hungary and became officially just the principality of Transylvania. Then, starting with 1867, in Austria-Hungary Transylvania was in Hungary. There's a reason why it was called Austria-Hungary from 1867, instead of the Habsburg Empire. It was because it was composed of two parts with their own governments and parliaments, Austria and the Kingdom of Hungary. So...no.
