I love Osaka. Feels like a giant amusement park for food meets Amsterdam meets NYC's 5th avenue. The side streets are so charming too.

Oh...your video is taking me back to when I lived in Japan and went down to Osaka from Misawa for a vacation. was AMAZING! Such a different atmosphere than where I lived at in Northern Japan haha

@@catherinekayy I knoooow! They all looked so so good. The last time I was in Japan back in 2019 I only went to Kyoto and Nara but didn’t have enough time for Osaka but I’m going back in December for Osaka and can’t wait to try all those delicious foods!! 😋😋

I went to Osaka when I was young, but I was so picky with my food back then that I didn't try anything, now watching your blog I can't believe how much I missed out!!! Thank you for sharing your trip, it is a delight!

Japanese sweets and taiyaki are best served with tea. Red bean paste is sweet, so it goes well with tea. In Japan, there are many sweets that are made with tea in mind.

It's great that you know that! Other people only eat Japanese sweets and say they don't like them because they are sweet, but Japanese people enjoy them with green tea, matcha, or barley tea.😊❤

Sweet potato taiyaki is my favorite! The Asian market about 30 minutes from my house sells a Korean version in their frozen section. They’re mini ones in a purple bag and I make them in the air fryer and they’re one of my favorite foods in the whole world! They’re called Bungeo-ppang.

I'd try it all. I've heard Hiroshima style okonomiyaki rivals the Osaka one but I guess in that scenario you gotta try them both if you can! :D Thanks for another super video!

I knew very very basic Japanese so I could catch certain things (I couldn’t read it at the time) I knew hello, goodbye, thank you for the food, excuse me ect, but I honestly don’t think it’s needed! Especially in Tokyo, Osaka and Kyoto, there were many English menus and English speakers! They also had menus and things at the checkout in conbinis that you could point at, for example “large bag” “small carrier bag” ect! 🥹🌷 so in my opinion you don’t tend to know Japanese although I would always try learn at least thank you 🌷 xxxx

The Japanese have a sweet tooth !! Most things i watch on youtube about cooking they add sugar to everything !!! And also another great vlog !!!! You are getting to good at this missy :P And it's such a massive city and so busy in Osaka ... how much rubbish did u see on the pavements or in the road !! I'm guessing not very much at all !!!
