The pink dip is called taramasalata: Fish roe whipped together with oil into a fluffy cream consistency. Traditionally eaten around Easter but lovely all year round!

The warm and cold water mixing up is called Thermocline. Its the layer of mixed water from the surface and the deep water temperature
