For those people hip with Victoria's geography, yes, Ballarat and Beechworth are not right next to each other, we edited together both places because they kinda fit a similar vibe. The time machine that is an Australian small town is interesting. Part of me feels like if your claim to fame is from 150 years ago maybe it's time to think of something new. Every (good) Bakery has great Pies. Seaside Bakeries specialise in Scollop Pies and Visitors rave about them especially the Curried Scollop Pies. 🇦🇺

We have had everything from a Thai curry pie to cauliflower. Very surprised on the options even for vegetarians!!
Glad you saw a cat in Beechworth even if it wasn't the Beechworth black panther. The Beechworth Bakery is famous in the area, we would drive down there from Bandiana just to get smoko whilst at work. Glad you missed Glenrowan ... please tell me you guys didn't go to Glenrowan. They are famous for the last stand of Ned Kelly and businesses there have continued the bush ranging tradition of daylight robbery by the prices they charge 🤣 I told one of the museum owners that, he wasn't impressed!
