Thank you for watching we love you too! Yeah I’m working on pronouncing things correctly but I have this problem of being American. It’s terrible.

Re everything being called Flinders there. In NSW everything is called Macquarie, after an early Governor who went around naming everything after himself. Then other people named things after him too, - so we have Macquarie harbours, ports, streets, lighthouses rivers, lakes, islands, schools, universities, suburbs, shopping centres, electorates and dictionaries to name but a few. The guy I feel sorry for is William Hovell, who along with Hamilton Hume explored south to Port Phillip Bay. As a result we got a few things names after Hume - a highway, a reservoir and an electorate for instance, but no one wanted to call anything Hovell... Oh yeah, great video, yours are always a refreshing change from the usual travel vlogs, my second favourite show after Bluey. 5 stars from me.

We are honoured to be on the podium next to Bluey. Yeah we noticed that in NSW! We will be back there in September. I feel like there are just so many things to name and it was just easier to name them all the same thing.

You'll notice more animals around dusk and dawn then in the middle of the day.

Yeah! It’s a bit scary being on the road at that time. We are nervous about hitting anything 😰

In that cave that goes threw to the beach we saw tiger snakes .tiger snakes are black on kangaroo Island ..they are brownish and a bit striped on the mainland..it was February and so hot..35c at 12 at night

We have seen a few snakes. I don’t like getting to close to them 😅.

They look e-mused to see us. 😜

Don't worry; hardly anyone has seen a platypus, Aussies included 😅 They're pretty elusive characters. BTW, emu is pronounced 'ee-mew', not 'ee-moo' 😊

We are having trouble filling our Pokédex. Yeah my pronunciations suffer from a severe case of being American. Maybe with time I can cure my ignorance. Doctors say it’s almost impossible though 😅
