I applaud u for going out of your comfort zone to give your kids the opportunity to be adventurous 👏🏾👏🏾. My dad did the same with me and my siblings he made sure we took swimming lessons as kids although he can’t swim himself and doesn’t like water. I think it’s important to provide your kids with certain experiences in life, it helps build character and self confidence.😊😊

It's good that you went out of your comfort zone, your children will see that and appreciate your effort more as they grow older. It will also build some confidence in your girls.

I can relate to what you said that vlogging can take away the fun. Before I started my channel I used to feel that if I vlog I won't experience that adventure as much as I had anticipated. Thank you for vlogging this experience, I now know what some parts of bonny/finima looks like.

EDUTAINMENT!! THIS WAS SO INTERESTING! Not only was it educational, it was inspirational too. You KZreadrs are showing us that Nigeria has so much to offer a family on a day out. This was fine innocent family fun - for the whole family. That whale bone!! I wish your husband had gone too - to inspire all those dads out there. Thank you for sharing this. By the way, you were so brave getting into that boat even BEFORE you found out that there were no crocodiles in that water. Nice! I did my service there years back and I loved it. I always shuttled almost every other weekend between Bonny and ph on the speed boat, we called it ‘open heaven’ It was fun and faster for me but risky though thinking about it! Lol good times!

Beautiful Vlog....I visited Bonny Island & It was A Beautiful Experience....was There with some Crew from Nollywood on movie Location....wow....they kept the Whale skin for years? The kids had fun. Sometimes we need to Leave our comfort zones. I enjoyed watching

My sister, I did not know it's like that o. The boat felt so light and could tumble at anytime.

I had tears watching this. THIS IS MY HOME TOWN! Memories flooding in. From the sites to the NLNG boats. The whole shebang. They have maintained the boats so well. And yes, NLNG are very organized. I hope you enjoyed their R.A? The next time you want to visit, ask your host if they can get you on the helicopter if you're up for an adventure. Just 15mins from PH to Bonny. And yes to your cruiseship dream. Everyone should be in one. I live in the Caribbean, we see it everyday. I featured one in passing, in one of my vlogs. On a lighter note, that your canoe experience, LMAO! I can now understand when people freak out that I ain't scared of boats.

Oh my! Helicopter would be nice but even more scary for me. My hubby flies in helicopters all the time and he said the experience is more scary than regilar flight. Is that true? The canoe felt so light and flimsy. I legit thought we would tumble over. I would love to visit the Caribbean! Thanks for watching🙏😘

@@AdaezesSpace Well, it won't hurt to try one time💁. I'm rooting for you.lol. I was both excited and apprehensive hopping on one but I liked it. However, airplanes win when it comes to safety. Yeah, the canoe feels like that, the trick is balancing your feet on both sides of the boat as you walk. It's quite scary though until you become comfortable at it. Lol. Weldone❤️

@@angelonons my dear eeehhhh we drove to Pelham to buy tutorroso tomatoes and milk hmmmmm come see....empty isles i was like babe.... see everything is empty so we called up Rite Aid pharmacy to buy water guess what they're out too....we called dollar tree to buy bleach,tissue and bathroom spray.... guess what again they are out. I said well thank God babe let's stay home because I don't want to drive and waste my gas for nothing mtcheww....my husband even said all the targets in Manhattan have empty shelves....

As a child I grew up in a part of Lagos called Apapa near the wharf , always used to take canoes. I would love to do this again now as an adult. 🥰❤️ Please you have to go on a treasure hunt for Kora. So beautiful to see that the girls had fun. Very beautiful vlog.

Looking back now , it was fun for me and the canoes as at then were slightly wider and balanced canoes that carried close to ten passengers. Now you’ve got me intrigued, I would definitely go back and try this again when next in Nigeria. If I feel my heart pounding then I would know that this adult life is truly a scam😆
