Wow I’m genuinely shocked at how well some of those games run. I’ve been using Batocera almost exclusively on my win600 but I should probably give some windows games attention soon.

How do you like it so far with Batocera? Do you run it off a flash drive, micro sd card with a usb reader or flashed on the internal ssd? I havent got one.. Yet.. But looking at the 3020e model maybe.

@@fonzitheman I initially was running it off a 512GB slim flash drive, but I liked it so much I got a 512GB SSD and installed Batocera in that. I kept the original 126GB SSD with windows and can swap it if I really want windows again.

@@WMARUoriginal Oh yeah, so no issues running Batocera off an internal ssd? So to put files on do you connect a usb dongle hub and plug in a mouse, keyboard and portable hdd, flash drive wherever your roms are stored ,press F1 on keyboard to bring up file manager and transfer files over that way?

@@fonzitheman there are other ways, but the method I used was: 1) Booted Batocera from my flash drive 2) In the Batocera menu, selected install Batocera on new disk 3) Batocera actually will download the latest version and install that. It’s not transferring it from the flash drive to the SSD. 4) Once that is done, Batocera will boot up natively off SSD. I connected my flash drive again and connected keyboard and mouse, press F1 and moved over the games I wanted to move over.

@@WMARUoriginal Yeah, thats the way i described. So attaching keyboard, mouse, flash drive all at same time obviously you used a usb hub? But yeah, thanks for confirming it all works. I asked about running Batocera off an internal ssd on the win600 on a.number of diff win600 yt vids but no one answered, guess maybe hardly anyone is doing it that way. Im very familiar with Batocera though as I run it on a few devices, including a dedicated Tiny PC set up. Tenpted to get the 3020e still. I like the new redesign of the Ayn Loki Zero but their website now says quarter 2 2023. Id be suprised if anyone gets any of the Loki models before June. But the win600 is available now so yeah.

I know you probably thought of getting the most of the hardware without interference but an FPS counter is paramount on this kind of video. Great work nonetheless.

100%. That and I previously didn't know how to get the FPS counter on screen lol. Yeah was suprised as well with Nier, it might drop later on in the game though.

If you're reading this, don't waste your money on the win600, they are plagued with battery problems and the company won't sell you a replacement battery unless you purchased directly from their website. Anbernic win600 will eventually crash and after restart, the battery will not charge past 60 percent, we have two win600 units and it happened to both.

🤩 great that all u testing mostly playable and also work great, but i guess all of this games or not free all need to buy from steam?

Definitely not free! But i recommend getting the xbox game pass!

Thank god it can play insaniquarium deluxe! With system requirements so high i was pretty doubtful

I think this portable pc but for old games, my laptop also use amd athlon 3020e....you can play PCSX2, PES 2016, resident evil 4 Ultimate HD,and my hero academia, NFS rivals (low settings)

Fallout new vegas and fallout 3 run really well if installed them from steam

Sifu only runs great on the prologue. On the first level its drop to 5 fps.

I'd say around 3 hours

Did you change TDP and resolution in games? Like 12-15 Watts on cpu and 540p? If not, these tests are not true.

Mine does not go to sleep on its own .
