U've dialled in those subs perfectly. Wow! Clean deep bass no distortion. Easy work for the subs producing those lows.

The Wolfram C-2400.1 comes with a clip indicator on the bass knob. Very useful to have especially since I have an epicenter.

when I first put my system in I did not have anything to set the gain I went to a couple local car audio places and asked them how they were going to tune my system and how they set the gains and frequency. most of them said by eare, by a multimeter. I did not trust that so I purchased the SMD dd -1 and cc-1. I paid one of them $120 to set my gains and frequency on both my amps and when I later purchased the dd1 and cc1 I later discovered that the frequency was way off and the gain was set to high. this will tell you what your max volume can go on the head unit and the max gain with no distortion and it is very accurate. the oscope that the guy used to tune your system is the most accurate I am glad that they used a oscope and not guessing. it definitely sounds clean with the tune, get the dd1 and the cc1 well worth it, I realized that my head unit does not distort at full volume most decks distort at 3/4 volume that is good to know. aewsome video.

@@slitherman7883 most of the time you don't wanna turn ur bass boost up at all if ur amp isn't powerful enough without turning it up then u usally need a bigger amp but if u turn it up and u dont hear any distortion and ur turn the bass boost up go for it

To me it seems like they are wired out of phase and causing cancellation. I hope you got it figured out by now but if not look into that.

I think the gain was at the 1 o clock position crossover at 70hz and no bass boost

i want the rockville because i have an amp and no sub and i feel like it’s a good start and would really help i’d be putting it in my truck i just got i’m only 17 so starting somewhere lmao 🙏

Its different for every setup since the car and electrical is different. Gain is at the 2 o clock position lpf down to 50

I like having mine with everything turned up personally

My pioneer deck go up to 62 but the way they set it up i can't go pass 60 or I'll be clipping my bass knob will let me know that im clipping when i go pass it

Yeah some are like that. My old headunit would clip at 55 out of 60. So that means if you clip the headunit you are only going to amplify distortion and then if the amp is set to clipping too its just bad all round. Need to know both the head unit clean signal point then set the amp to its max non clip and you'll be clean.

My friend said scar uses CCA undersized wiring in their prefab sub boxes. Is this true?what gauge speaker wire are you using. I recommend 12 gauge OFC only for subs getting 1000-2000w rms. people that think you need eights gauge though are deluded as speaker signal is AC not DC and high-voltage at that

Yes the internal wiring is garbage But the transfer of power distance is less than a ft so it should honestly be fine

Their wire has the strand count printed on it and its still somehow cheaper than any of the other brands. and no its not undersized. @@Kpaceguy on a sidenote I cannot believe for a company's big as skar they are shipping CCA wiring kits with their evL sub packages . Not even the internal wiring which is questionable but the actual power wire people are even hooking up to 2000 Wat amplifiers pulling capable of pulling 200 amperea😱. when that aluminum stuff gets brittle and flaky I smell a car fire. Knu conceptz and sky high oversized cca is usable tho

Are you running on stock power? I'm about to get this same setup for my 2012 Kia optima and I'm a little hesitant.

Nope. I just made sure to use ofc wiring because it's way way friendlier on your electrical system and far more efficient and I have no headlight dimming, windows roll down the same speed, everything appears fine. I may throw on a second battery cell just to take a little load off the car anyway

Settings change depending on the head unit, power and cable type and etc. Don't copy anyone. You can use a multimeter and tune it yourself

I'd like to win the Rockville under seat subwoofer. I have been a audio enthusiast for many years. Unfortunately, life comes first. I'm married and have a daughter and now have a 1016 Dodge grand caravan. Since having the van I've not had any subs in my ride. I really miss playing & messing with car audio. My plan is to upgrade my head unit to a MyGIG factory. Install 1 to 2 subs in the back in either a custom tail enclosure or custome enclosure for the stow-n-go compartments in the middle row. It would be awesome to be able to do some fun audio stuff like I use to. Unfortunately I'm also diisabled now due to kidney failure and having a child & family it make it hard to do on a fixed income. I just found your channel on youtube & am enjoying the content. Maybe you will pick me as your winner, so I can enjoy car audio again. I'd do it as a suprise for my wife. It would be awesome! Keep putting out the good content!👍

You can get a volt meter from harbor freight for $6 and you can set the gains that way. No need to go spend 100s of dollars in tuning equipment for personal use.
