You know- typically I would wanna go for the R- but..... I’m conflicted hahaha I just really don’t need a v8 and the mileage is garbage as it is (I knew this going in yes) - but even more garbage with a v8. I don’t need the power. It would sound great though! Also $$$$$$$

Personally, I like Peter's editing much more than the original. Love it so much, so excited. I am in love with Ford now.

Not just because I am your fan, but your edit was better. I literally blasted the speakers to full volume, man it felt like I was INSIDE the car. Great video as always. :)

Love it! And the second I saw that ariel transition, I knew it was 100% your flare.

The video transition from the clouds to the ford reminds me of the grand theft auto video game when you are switching characters. In the game as the camera comes back down to the character the camer slowly pumps back down from the sky down to the ground where the character is standing. Anyways cool video pete so much to learn from this one video.

One thing about the sound design that threw me off a bit was that at times the engine sound was revving like the truck was accelerating but the truck is moving at more or less constant speed. Doesn’t fit together and vexes me a bit. Really appreciate you talking through all your decisions Peter. A lot to learn from it.

This is boss AF. that Tail pipe/cloud/sat transition literally made my mouth drop. the way the sound effects keeps the pace when the music falls out is everything.

For sure haha. Faster paced for the current climate. Speed and Adrenaline is the design of the car so why take that out with a deep meaning story..I see what they did but that's not how you sell this vehicle. You sell a family car on that premise!

hi I doubt you will see this but I want you to know that you really inspired me to get into photography and try new things. I am 15 and I have been struggling to find my passion but you helped me find my love for photography, I just wanted to say thank you.

So I just watched the official version and while I like your take, the official version works on a deeper emotional level. The guy is sad, dealing with his father's (recent?) passing. The truck gives him a release from his anguish. This is reinforced each time the truck door is opened, "Enter Sandman" is a great track for pumping it up. Then he closes the door, and he's back to dealing with his grief. Back in the truck and there is a full release. A metaphor for coping with COVID? Buy this truck and get out in the world in summer '21? Likely the agency did focus group tests and this version came out ahead of something less emotionally involving.
