We surprised our girls with a stay at the Cartoon Network Hotel in Lancaster, PA! It was Ella's birthday, so we planned a fun weekend here and booked the Powerpuff Girls Suite!

As you can probably tell, we're a multiracial family (or interracial family or mixed family - whichever term you prefer). Carmen is Chinese and Belgian, and mostly grew up in Hong Kong. Serge's parents are both from Benin in West Africa, and he was born and raised in NYC.

One of our annual summer traditions is Dutch wonderland since my girls are still little and our fave spot for bfast is always coffee co!!! It’s right across the street from cartoon network hotel and all the bfast and lunch meals are to die for!!

I went to Cartoon Network hotel and it was amazing. It literally reminds me of Nickelodeon spongebob hotel but different with Adventure time, I absolutely love it.

Haha yes this would never happen at a classy, luxury restaurant like Cracker Barrel 🤣🤣 j/k People fight anywhere. But it was amusing. The kid next to us was so traumatized by it lol. Whereas the girls just shrugged it off.

I live in Harrisburg but I travel to Lancaster because that’s where my Dad lives. I always ride pass this hotel but I never been to it.

Yes! Couldn’t come to Lancaster without stopping here lol. Next time we’ll have to try the breakfast! Dinner was good too but it was a but overwhelming lol

Such a great birthday trip for Ella! I was looking forward to this vlog after visiting earlier this year. Would've loved to stay in the Ben10 suite, but all suites were sold out when we booked, so we had to book separate rooms, and it worked! I totally agree with you - it's not an upscale feel at all, but great theming and the kids really enjoyed it [and so did we]! Thanks so much for sharing!

We went there. This hotel was so dirty and disgusting. There’s a reason why it’s a 2-3 stars hotel!

Nope we paid for the stay. When we do work with hotels we clearly disclose it at the start of the video and in our written description. This was just a birthday surprise for our daughter.

This place is terrible. Your room looks nicer than the one we stayed in but I know what we paid. I'm sure u paid a ton. I mean honestly u couldn't have been happy w this place. I'm glad your girls had fun but this was our worst trip ever. We go to hotels at least twenty times a year. Different ones every time and this was our worst stay anywhere.

As I say clearly in the video, it’s basically a motel that’s been gussied up with Cartoon Network theming. As with any hotel, you need to do your research, read reviews, and manage your expectations. We didn’t walk into this place expecting it to be a Four Seasons. We knew exactly what to expect and we enjoyed it for what it was!
