Oh, After Shelly did the interview wih Dr.Phil I hated his guts!! Any human perso let alone a doctor who ever be so rude!! I'm so sorry Shelly! I know this life long pai. Being diagnosed at 11 with mental health issues and now 61 8n the state of Kentucky!! In Kentucky you are treated like and animal. The health care you get is horrible. Doctors are free to say anything they feel to in inbany worthless manner. I have actually now left health care that I am very very ill because of discrimination. It never stops. The police, the E911 I wish I had a often to leave!! My life my be a lot shorter for no reason! Shelly your a beautiful, inspirational person I admire!!!!❤

Shelly Duvall MADE The Shining. That movie performance was pure genius on Shelly’s part. As the child of a very abusive father, she nailed the anxiety and the uncertainty of a woman who is walking on eggshells around her unstable husband. In my opinion, Shelly deserved an Oscar for that portrayal. Every nuance and fidgety movement was the nervous energy of a woman afraid of her every move. I Love you, Shelly! You’re so beautiful, inside and out! Also loved her performance in The 4th Floor as Martha the nosy, building, manager, opposite, Juliette Lewis! ❤❤❤

In this case Kubrick being the abuser. It's unfortunate how well she did in the role because it validates the methods the director used, which are pretty unnecessary. You can get great acting without abusing the actor.

Those are the worst times for them but for main caregiver. It can go on for literally months, even in a psychiatric hospital. What I know is they never remembered when they were so very sick. Although they're titled The Gospel According to (Matthew, Mark, Luke and John), the actual authors are unknown.

She's only early 70s so she has a lot of living left. I hope she finds a way to do the things she enjoys in the coming years. I will watch anything she does.

Shelley's an icon. Her performance in The Shining is one of the best lead performances in a horror film in history. I don't understand what people are talking about when they say feel so bad for Shelley and that "she's obviously had some hard times." She's in her 70s now! She's an older woman. Shelley, I LOVED you in The Shining. You were the voice of reason whose reason was driven out of her. Amazing performance! You were perfect for that part, even though it was so hard on you; because you are such a good actress you can hold your own even with Jack chewing up the scenery like he does so well. You should have a T-shirt made that says "I survived acting for Stanley Kubrick!" And you were PERFECT in the role of Olive Oyl. It is a solid fact no one else could have done it like you did. Your gift is knowing which projects to take on, because you have excellent taste. So good to see you again! It must have been great working in 2023 in The Forest Hills. Kudos! It got a 7.8 on IMDB, which is no small accomplishment. Thanks to Grimm for the great video. All good wishes.
