WE SLEPT IN A 230 YEAR OLD FORT 🇮🇳🔥 Alila Fort Bishangarh near Jaipur India | 197 Countries, 3 Kids
Hey, guys! Have you ever stayed in a fort or a castle? Well, we did, and where else, if not in India?!
In this video, we are partnering with the unique Fort Alila Bishangarh hotel and taking you along with us for an incredible experience! growingupwithoutborders.com/A...
Even though it was less than 90 mins outside Jaipur, getting to Alila Fort Bishangarh felt like we were driving in the middle of nowhere. But boy, oh boy, did things change once we arrived at our destination!
As we approached the entrance, we were struck by the beauty and magnificence of the place. The fort was perched atop a hill, and the surrounding landscape was simply breathtaking. As we stepped inside, we were warmly greeted and escorted to our suites.
The suites took our breath away! Spacious, comfortable, extremely clean, and full of little surprises - they were more and better than we could imagine!
By the time we took in all that beauty in, it was already dinner hours, so we found our way to the Fort Alila Restaurant, where the food was spicier than what we had in the South of India.
We heard music coming from down below in the courtyard, and obviously, we had to check it out. We ended up immersed in the romantic atmosphere of Alila Fort Bishangarh and danced the night away.
The next morning, we were treated to a traditional breakfast at the fort before embarking on a grand tour of the hotel.
Fort Alila Bishangarh was built in 1768 and has been recently restored and converted into a luxury hotel by the Alila Hotels and Resorts Group. The architectural style of the fort is a blend of traditional Rajasthani and Mughal styles, with influences from the local Shekhawati region.
The design of the fort features spacious courtyards, beautiful arches, and intricate carvings accompanied by a beautifully decorated interior with antique furniture, luxurious textiles, and stunning artwork.
We were shown around the fort and learned about its rich history and significance. When partnering with hotels, we are never sure of what surprises await us when we arrive. In this instance, we experienced a thrilling jeep safari and visited a local family home near the Fort.
That evening, we had an exclusive private dinner at Fort Alila Bishangarh, which was a truly magical experience.
The next morning, before heading out, we relaxed by the pool, and Chantal even enjoyed a massage in the dungeon!
The hospitality at Fort Alila Bishangarh was exceptional, and we felt pampered and taken care of the entire time.. As our journey came to an end, we said goodbye to Fort Alila Bishangarh, grateful for the unforgettable experiences we had.

Never dreamed that your raw experience at this luxurious yet ancient heritage royal fort in Rajasthan would be so great!

It was amazing! What a luxurious place to experience for a couple of nights.
The suffix 'garh' used for fort, enclosure or settlement in Indo-European, is similar to suffixes like in Lenin-grad, Stutt-gart, or even evolved into English words like gard-en.

Lovely Ladies,Thanks you guys so much for this remarkable video from Jaipur, India this week in March of 2023.I wish you guys good LUCK always in joy 2023❤❤❤
Its such a joy to travel as a family. Your videos brought back happy memories of my childhood. I love to quote a few words from a book I had read. And the words are,it happened a long time ago and it happened in another country. Th Thanks for another interesting masterclass.
Another famous fort resort near Delhi Jaipur Highway is Neemrana Fort. It had a nice countryside charm in the 1990s however today it has become an industrial town. There is an Indo-Japanese industrial park there are various companies like Daikin and Hitachi are present. Lot of Japanese business travellers spend time in Neemrana. Just outside the Neemrana fort there is a Toyota factory. Then there are hotels with names like Hirohama and Komachi.
Interesting as usual. The food looked amazing, I have tasted goat meat back in NZ, apparently it's good in curry. To me it tasted between mutton and beef somewhat. Wonderful to join you all once more. Looking forward to seeing the next one. thank you Kiwi from Virginia
Lovely Ladies, Congratulations to you guys for your new remarkable video from Jaipur, India this week to have delicious foods @ your hotel in March of 2023❤❤❤
When visiting Golden Temple in Amritsar please make a plan to go there either early in morning or after 10pm.. Dont go there when its full moon or no moon. You will regret it if you go there after 7am ...as there will be million people .

Yeah it’s the country of contrasts
This fort hotel seems t be built on the edges of the tourist route.. They must have put a lot of money into it.. Maybe because of it's location and covid they are desperate to attract tourists.. I'd say you got a special deal because of your Utube channel.. But yes it is a magnificent castle / fort .. I hope it becomes a successful motel and the employees prosper there..
@GrowingUpWithoutBorders

Yes they’re still quite new but super busy already with so many bookings. While we were there there were already so many tourists visiting mostly from within the country though.

@@GrowingUpWithoutBorders Well thats good.. i got the impression from your video that the place had few visitors.. I guess domestic visitors in numbers can support the vaiablilty without the need for international tourists.. But i would guess they would charge international visitors more money and thereby get better earnings from them.. I may be wrong.. Anyways thanks for your reply..

Time and again if you hear the vlogs carefully they let slip their feeling of entitlement and superiority for eg..at 22.15 they talk about carrying something to give in THESE countries.. I have noticed this not for the first time .. happened when the drone was not allowed… irony is we Indians are become income generators for them by following or giving them views.. not anymore from my side…

@Growing Up Without Borders as you saw(with your own eyes), the poor do not have toilets sometimes. I would rather live in a middle income country or a not so populated country. Very very different compared to China. It is bigger than India with almost equal population 1.4 b. Yes Chinese cities are congested too but orderly and clean.
