We Scrapped all the Scrap Metal on a Farm! - Estate Sale Cleanup

Scrap metal adventure so big we had to get help! These estate sales have been pretty awesome opportunities for big piles of scrap, and this may have been the best one yet. Between the cars and the farm equipment though, we may have bitten off more than we could handle!
Wire stripper I use: amzn.to/3jrO2iS
The motorized stripper: amzn.to/3y0JMuQ
The wire cutters I like: amzn.to/2T6j3OW
This is the cheaper version: amzn.to/2SwrYsB
And here are those grips I recommend: amzn.to/2QCJmYl
(If you make a purchase on amazon through the links above, a small amount of what amazon makes on the sale is shared with me. It's a great way to help support my channel, at no additional cost to you. Even if you buy something other than my tool recommendations!)

This was my grandfather's farm, been visiting there since I was a kid. (The swings at the end of the video was one of the favorites of the grandkids.) The house is pretty empty now. The video is seeing things after a lot of stuff has already been taken away, believe it or not. Even though, I'm surprised how low the total weight was.

Snow? What the H? Manure spreaders, people love them for yard art! Balers, break out your breaker bar! they are made of really heavy steel, but they're also full of air. Gallons of WD-40! Sickle Mower, you need a 3/4 inch socket set and a breaker bar to stand on to break 50 year old bolts off. Well of course there's a mobile home frame mixed in...1920's-1960's small farm machinery is incredibly well built of heavy metal! Great Job Thub!

Used to go rummaging through abandoned barns as a kid, I'll always remember this one barn that had a cabinet full of *huge* syringes, like horse medicine or something that'd rotted into this black oil, well the points on the needles were at least 2.5" so we'd throw them like darts while drinking some cheap beer. Good times.

I’m blessed in the sense I’m more setup for a job like this with a 3/4 ton diesel, dump trailer, and mini skid steer but I did start out in a ford ranger as well and you sir remind me how handy these little trucks are. Definitely surprised me when it weighed 10.8k lol keep up the awesome content man 🤙🏼

Awesome video, maybe you should buy your own used trailer, so that you don’t have to spend the money on renting one out? Than again, they might be very cheap in Canada, I don’t know about that. 👍👍👍

Wow, Thub. You weren't kidding when you said this was going to be a great video and a great project. I have a lot of comments. 1. Ear protection. 2. Cindy looks adorable in her very own coveralls. 3. The doo dad by the toaster at about 29:00 was most likely a mimeograph machine - Ditto machine. 4. It looked like Dan, et al, must have had a great childhood in that beautiful spot. His dad reminds me of mine in that he could do about anything. You can tell they are deeply missed. 5. I want to move into that barn and make it into a house. 6. Watching The Hulk just heft up those axles of disks? Dang! . . and, of course . . 7. Ear protection, you goofball! Thanks for a super fun Friday night!
