This is what happens when people buy watches to try to make a buck rather than to wear and enjoy.

Poor chap, bought it from you, deemed a solid watch, returned to sell so demonstrates strong loyalty and drops 3k, that'll hurt & went public for his stoning' ouch!

I have never paid more than retail for any of my steel rolexes, often slightly below. If everyone refused to pay above retail, the flippers and chancers would disappear and there would be plenty of stock available. The grey market dealers would then be able to buy at a good price and sell at a good price like it used to be. The grey market is flooded with so-called ‘hard to get’ watches at ridiculous prices. Stop paying above retail and the prices will fall dramatically. It’s as simple as that.

Supply and demand. You’re right, if pre-owned dealers could buy for less than retail, they can often sell for less than retail. This is the case with some full while gold pieces right now

They're offering £9,000 on the sub and selling it for £11,750... absolute crooks! There's taking a profit and then there's taking the piss!

Word in the Watchsphere is the Rootbeer likely get discontinued October this year… Just picked up my Rootbeer yesterday from AD. Have been going to the same AD since 2017, the Rootbeer is my Grail Watch.. so nice and even better on the wrist live!

According to chrono the average price for the 126610LN in January 2023 was £12,193 and now in August it’s £12,022. So the price hasn’t changed much in 2023

Watchcharts is way more reflective of what the 'real' grey market price is. 10,531 is about average on a 126610LN now., actually saw a 2022 in good condition going for 10,450 with B and P@@Watchtrader

Just brought my wife a 36mm date just with a white gold fluted bezel on jubilee bracelet with MOP diamond face paid retail 9800.....can`t see any videos on this also can`t find on net do you think it will keep it`s value and what are they currently selling for?

I'm kind of disappointed that you offered pretty good prices on very old and heavily beat up Breitlings but turned down my Tudor North flag. On another note, can you also provide/source Rolex bracelets? Super Jubilee 63600 for example?

@@nicknicola1009 Been in business longer than you have - so I understand completely what its all about - what I don't agree with is the manipulation of markets to increase profits - it's insider trading - you know exactly what you are doing and continue to perpetuate the illusion that it's a balanced market - it is not - you think it is fair to make thousands on a trade just by sticking it on your website - people are wising up to the nonsense of this watch business - it deserves to come crashing down - the public have been taken for a ride for long enough - no one is forced to do buy anything , but they expect the norms of supply and demand to obtain - not to be skewed by people effectively doing nothing - taking thousands in profit, and not adding any value - that is the key to the argument - you are unnecessary and do not add any value.

Like Josh’s style - seems trustworthy
