We went to Cherry Hinton at Easter, we were on pitch 31. Had a lovely time in the beautiful city and the site was lovely. For anyone visiting I would highly recommend a walking tour of Cambridge. You can book them for free and you tip the guide at the end of the 2 hour tour. We learnt so much about the history of the university and city.

Thank you for making these videos. We would like to camp there but I wasn’t sure about our dog Fiona coming but look there is Bella punting up the Cam River and into Cambridge! Brilliant I think we will book! 😊

Sorry we missed you both. We looked out for yous at Clubfest but it was so big and busy it would have been pot luck if we came across you. It was a fantastic event though. We had one of the best pitches as we got there at 5 to 8am...front row and bang in the centre of the Kelmarsh Hall back door. To look back and see about 2500 units behind us was an amazing sight.

Looks like one of the better club sites, one that we would like to stay on at some point. While we are generally now looking to use CL sites in the main, there will be exceptions, just as they are convenient, but I do think club sites are now over priced. Great to meet Bella, as well as you both at Clubfest, found it interesting how you were getting footage shot and look forward to seeing the edited results.

We did not use Cherry Hinton but a CL called Gingercress Farm which had Fishing as well. His what went up in the air? Watching that fudge reminded me we have some in Desmond.

@@HelenandDave the site is in Birchington Quex been there a lot over the years if you go I will tell you the best pitches got water on some but you don’t pay no more tip is connect your kampa pump to blow out the water left in your hose pipe I will tell you how if your interested gary

We worked in Cambridge before we retired. Many familiar sights but very interesting to see it through someone else's eyes.

It's a very long time since I was last in Cambridge, try October 1986 when it used to be a drinking haunt whilst in training at nearby Bassingborne Bks.

Gorgeous site! That might just be the nicest CAMC site I've seen, they tend to be a bit featureless but that one is beautiful with all the hedging and trees. Cambridge looks so idyllic punting down the river. Adding this to an every increasing list of must visits.

Great site Dave & Helen but we need to wait for some serviced pitches to be installed 😂. Knew it was nice there as our friends used to go there a lot. Hi Phil, we have been lucky weather wise although we could do with our summer kicking in! 😂 Secare members of both clubs but we only visit a couple of camping & Caravan Club sites each year.
