As a longtime fan, someone recently said DGD is just angry Coheed and I’ll never be the same lol

I love Jon mess' lyrics and grit. he brings so much levity to the seriousness of tillians vocals. do they make sense? no most the time it doesnt, but they are constantly funny and pair perfectly with tillians range. when they harmonize is when dgd shines the strongest

I think Jon Mess (the screamer) was the exterminator of the rats in Synergy. Now he’s the king of the rats in this one. So it’s a bit of a switcheroo.

Just saw them live for the first time last night. Long time listener. My favorite band. Amazing live. Everyone sings every song.

If yall are loving DGD you guys need to check out secret band. It is a band that was formed by DGD but without tillian doing vocals. The only vocals done are by Jon Mess. Definitely need to give it a listen.

Those blast beats towards the end were so fucking good. Matt Mingus is one of my fav drummer for sure.

I saw them live Saturday night and man were they so good. Brings so much energy and good vibes. I’m sad I didn’t get to see them with Tim (RIP) but the fill in Sergio was great.

The mother ship album has a super cool animated "series" for videos and its also an amazing album.

Im so glad I found this channel man. I recently found this band also and its so crazy i absolutely love them and im glad they brought me here you guys are sick. I hope you guys can jump into some of their older stuff like "downtown battle mountain" its a really sick album with their original singer Jonny Craig. My favorite song is lemon meringue tie. I hope you guys find the time and ill be supporting from here on out! Much love guys.

The first time i watched as well I wasn't as into this song as synergy but I think i was just distracted by the video because listening to it without the music video I instantly liked it way better than synergy. That first verse is insane

You guys should check out Eidola and and Royal coda. Eidola’s lead singer Andrew Wells is in dgd and tours with them, plays a key part in the band and him and Tim especially were very close. Rip Tim Eidola’s lead guitarist Sergio (who did an amazing job filling in for Tim while dgd toured) is in royal coda along with dgd’s lead guitarist Will Swan, along with Kurt Travis which is dgd’s first original lead vocalist. ((Kurt also has a white boy version of silk sonic basically 🤣 called Gold Necklace. They are very good)) At this point a super band just needs to happen but eidola and royal coda along with dgd. They are all very involved with each other. Highly recommended stuff. But i Just found your channel today. I’m digging it. Keep it up fellas

You guys need to go back to the old narritive songs like the "robot with human hair songs". Not all of them are animated but there is a small cinematic universe they created and even made a comic on! Its super cool, if youre interested in just the animated videos it started with "death of robot with human hair" It should explain a little bit of where these animal and fruit people come from

You really need to look backward through their discography. Their music is truly indicative of late 70's - early 80's rock operas, and I'd love to see your reaction to the narrative. Glad I found you dudes!
