i think there's a setting called "keyboard aerial safety" they added after f2p with prevents you from messing up aerials by pressing W. It should be on the controls page at the very bottom.

Holy shit thank you so much. I've always ignored it cuz I used to play on controller but when I switched to KBM I hated how drive forward and pitch forward are the same key

@@foxxo8349 you're welcome. I used to play on kbm (only keyboard since I rebound some stuff) until I was plat. Then with f2p I switched to controller. Some time later I played on kbm just for fun with a friend and that setting was on. I couldn't do shit xD I rebound driving forward so I didn't have to press w at all on the ground. That's how I solved the problem before the setting was there.

Bois, You can definitely double jump by binding accelerate to a different key "like space" so you don't have to slow down or tilt your car unwillingly. if you think about it that's how controller has different binds for accelerate and tilt too. You're 100% saving it at 2:17 🔥

THIS ^^^^ its a toggle in controls. Basically it prevents you from pressing "w" until you press "s" in the air. It is enabled by default and no player abover plat uses it.

If you dont want to let go of w and then press it again in the air to lean forward, turn of arial safety on kbm in the settings where you change the sensitivities on controller. Great videos btw❤

Jack, the cancelling the button and then reholding it comment also might be true on console and remote. I have been struggling as of recent in that same situation on controller and have found cancelling and then reholding works better.

Since you guys can't speed flip yet, a slightly delayed kickoff, of delayed into jumping, is a solid play. I cant speed flip, so my timing vs a speed flip kickoff has had to get oretty good 😅

it's a very, very small thing, but as a female viewer it's really nice to be greeted in the intro

let jack use mouse for jumping, jump on scroll wheel, that way you can easily chaindash to recover on walls

You know, just thinking about it, you guys could solve the empty/double jump issue if Retals remapped forward and reverse to two other keys, leaving pitch forward and back on w and s, that way Jack could jump while Retals holds foward

Guys I really think you should try not doing the fast aerial for aerialing. If you just double jump and then start boosting up you'll be slow but consistent!
