So good to see you in the greenhouse
Hi Renea and John! Enjoyed being in the greenhouse with you. Your chickens look so healthy. Have a blessed day you two!
Nice greenhouse! Nice set up for your garden and chickens! Thanks for the video:)
Not bored here…happy your teaching newbies…I’m pretending I have my hands in the dirt with ya ✌️❤️😊
Good morning from Missouri zone 6A. I love your garden videos and watch and rewatch them, you are smiling through the whole thing. Gardening is a passion of mine and I seed start too. Your chicks are beautiful. Have a great growing season. I’m anxious to see your tours.❤
I know how to garden but there isn't one single second of this video that was boring. I could watch you do this all day. And the background sounds make me homesick. You are a fantastic teacher, Renae. I've always wanted a greenhouse and never got one. I hope you make more videos in that peaceful space. Perfect, perfect!!! Just wondered if you have ever grilled the Marconi peppers. They are great.

No, but this year I plan to incorporate them into dishes that I cook in the outdoor oven,
Whatching you reminds me of working in my Dad's greenhouse business ... I mis it. But now I'm able to garden on my sons land. I live in an apartment now...really miss having a yard.
❤It is so good to finally be able to catch up on your videos. We're about 5 behind. Chef Kai and I have not had a chance to just sit and enjoy. My mom passed away on the 4/13, and I am still trying to grasp that she's gone. She and I were very close. I got everything for her done now, and Chef Kai and I are enjoying just relaxing and catching up with you.❤
I always get a little home sick when I watch your videos. Keep up the good work
The other thing I learned is the smart bet up here is buying starts from grocery store, or garden centers etc. Seed starting yourself itself is iffy, grey murky up here. You're not starting enough seeds for a small village! LOL In the past it was like 2.50 a plant, God knows what it is this year? But admittedly, that's part of the FUN! Hey, Save America! 😉
Hi Renea, hope you are enjoying these beautiful sunny days we are being blessed with. Thanks for sharing your ideas and thrifty saving tips for gardening❤😊
Haha! Youu just answered my question about the soil mix. 😂😂😂
That’s a great price on the pullets. Around here they want $10-$15 each!
I've already had to up plant my tomatoes. Hoping I didn't start them too early. Love your greenhouse!

No they will get a very good start.
Renee…I have a hobby greenhouse where I sell about 8,000 plants a year. The cheapest labels I’ve found come from Greenhouse Megastore in a roll of 1” X 4 1/2” with 1000 labels per roll. Then, being cheap, I make labels and cut them in half, so I get 2000 per roll😊. Just type plastic plant labels in the description.

Had to back down to about 6000 this year. I’m 68, and taking them to market is getting tiring! But thank you both☺️

@@melindawargowsky8176 I am your age 66 in July. This is my fourth year having a garden...but this year it's a flower garden. I had so much food preserved I don't need any thing at all this year or next..lol. do you have a platform so we can see your operation. You tube or Facebook....would love to see it.....
Renee I like your set up it’s easier doing that standing up hat sitting down I find or even setting up all the trays earth etc like you have it . I have some starts on my deck but may have to take them in a night or two before I will be able to leave them out for the summer
Good morning Renea! What is the best soil mix to use for starting seeds? And if i don't use all the seeds are they good to use next year? Thank you for another great teaching video!! Its my first garden and my son and i are doing it together as my yard is mostly shade and im 63 years young. Lol 😂 have a b.essed day everyone!!! Starting my seeds today indoors under a grow light today. I also am zone 6a and b in Maine. Love to you and Mr. Wayna ❤❤❤❤❤❤
The first time I saw the full eclipse was in 1961, exactly 1 month before my 15th birthday. This time around, it wasn't in the pathway. It was just like an overcast day. I' Il be 95 when the next one comes. I remember drinking Verners back in the 50s/60s, it was my favorite drink. I haven't seen it since in Canada.
Good.moring.❤❤
Good Morning ☀️ ❤
we just got a few things into the greenhouse on Sunday need to do more lol
I would love to do some major gardening but I don't have the area or the patience. 😊 I do have a Farmers Market within walking distance. So that's a good thing. Loved watching you .

You Michigan girls know how to get it done
Freeze Warning for Thursday night into Friday morning for us in GR so don't plant outside yet!
Afternoon from Ireland. You are so hard working you put me to shame!
I started my tomatoes and peppers about 2 weeks ago. Nearly all germinated so I will have some to share. Last night I started marigolds and violas. 6 weeks to last frost. Cannot outdoor plant until Memorial Day weekend. (Although this year we may be earlier) weird Michigan weather.

Good morning.
My bday is may 2oth...and my grandaughter is may 19th too!
Good Morning sweet lady, so good to visit while you seed started. I knew y’all had a short growing season; but didn’t realize when your last frost date would be first of June. Here in Louisiana, our last frost date is 2nd week of March and next frost date is mid November. Happy Planting to All🌱🌷
Hey! I received the walking onions 🧅, but they were dried up & crushed to pieces in the mailer. 😭
Renea love it! You called your Verners Pop! Brings me back to my childhood of growing up in Michigan 😍
Good morning

Good Morning
Another great video!!! Your potting mix looks beautiful what kind is it?
Hey Renae. I have one of those seed boxes. Works wonderfully.
Renea, how many cattle panels wide is your green house?
lol my husband just got a train horn for his semi a couple weeks ago. I’ll have to ask if he was delivering up by you that day. Also, what size cattle panels did you use?
It’s 82 degree here in New Orleans. Never could grow squash because of all the squash bugs, what do u put on the plants for bugs
HELP. I’ve gardened for awhile but my ground is very very sandy. I have trouble growing even tomatoes! What do you suggest? Thank you
@LittleVillageHomestead

Compost, manure and mulch and lots of each. You may also try raised beds they really are easier to control the soil.
😊❤❤🙏👍👍💐
gardening is a lost cause, where I live. but it is possible, I've Proven it before in summer. WHY is it a lost cause? Low overnight temps, and garden sun shaded by trees until after a certain time of day. It is possible however... Buy a State fishing license, license boat, and go Fishing! Better off! Yeah, like zone 3a. Latitude 47. HA!
This is such a helpful video Renea! Thank you so much!! I love your operation you have going on there, that is awesome. I am so looking forward to this journey all the way through the season with you. You can tell how much you love to nurture everything you put your hand and heart to, including your viewers…thank you🥰for all you do!
