We're in over our heads!!! Thats a pretty good way to describe whats been going on. We are starting excavation to get the footings poured for our garage additions and it's been hard enough to find concrete guys but I'm about to find out that its just as hard to excavate these trenches carefully and precisely.

All of you are up and running once again. We recently bought an Ecoflow and it is amazing, a different model that weights 100 lbs to run an RV and on its own wheels, but just the same, it's a beast! I bought this model first then plan to build on the battery bank soon. We're going to invest in an industrial rack to hold all our solar generators, or at least that's the plan. Here's to your projects and less snow, hopefully.

I love how Trent hugs his mom and Allie's mom the same way: with his head rested to the side on their shoulder. We moms know that's how our sons are! A friend's son got married recently, and when it was time for the Mother/Son dance, he danced with his head on it's side on her shoulder the entire time. It was sooooo sweet! Anyway, things are coming along nicely on your property. Little Leo is getting so big!

We have a German Shepradore and any time he’s in our car our car seats have a fur coating. Still, he is such a lovely dog. Loving, needy and sensitive and always wants to please. We’ve experience some of the same difficulties with him that you have had with Lika too. He’s really getting chill now that he is almost two. They might, but in consumer safety tests most of those harnesses broke in collisions. The safest way to transport your dog is in a crate/carrier that is secured into the vehicle. Most of the doggy harnesses snap in collisions that are at a force that could be dangerous to them and or their humans. My dog travels in his carrier that is belted into the passenger seat. The passenger seat in my 20-year-old car has a broken airbag, so there is no chance of that activating in an accident.

Well, there is bad news and good news. The bad news is you have a flat tire. The good news is it is only flat on one side. Glad you enjoyed your vacation and glad to see you home.

Leo is growing up so fast and gets cuter by the day----Was wondering as it won't be long before he needs his own space---Will you be adding on to the main house? Putting a bedroom and bath in the basement may be a solution but not until he is older---So good seeing Allie's Mom and Dad---such very nice people

I didn't realise you had more holiday time with your family, I bet you had a great time. Always hard to say goodbye. Trent your skills on the excavator is so good, as long as you remember where the underground pipe are. Allie always looks on the bright side, and she can tell what the weather is like by her hair. Stay safe all of you, love from Mike. ❤

I noticed your STHD holddowns at the rear garage wall have not yet been attached to their studs in the wall. Perhaps that small chore could be moved up your "To Do" list, as their strength is compromised if they are bent more than once and with all the construction going on around them, having them un-attached they could become damaged. Nice video, looks like Leo will be walking soon!

How you fix the excavator digging issue is to create a flat level are to dig from. Best and safest way. Plus the up hill side has less dirt to flake off into the digging hole.

As always a great video, glad to get some clarification on the size of the bump outs!!!!.having a wood shop sounds like a great idea,Trent can make all the cupboards in there rather than the room at side of house.also really impressed with how quick Leo is when he is crawling around the kitchen,at this rate he will be walking and then it’s a case of watch out!!!!!!!.saw a clip on instagram of some sketchy ladder work by the way !!!!!!!.see you on Monday
