New sub here! Your content is awesome, found your stuff because Pete’s & end dumps are something I like. Southeast Louisiana here! Sand and gravel end dump is huge here in my area and hell to get on your own in this area. Been looking into trying to get involved in it. Few trips a day to the concrete plants and do it all over again. Keep up the vids! I enjoy for sure. Big thumbs up!

Hey boss, just wanted to shout out that I love your content! my old man recommended you cuz his boss wants to hire me. I’ve been driving reefers and dry van for about 4 years now between millis and now NAPA, dad left here to work dump bed and loves it and wants me to work with him again haha We’re from Upstate ourselves and it’s good to see someone from our area on here lol. By the way Stewart’s coffee all the way lol well be safe and keep the Shiny side up!

Yes you do take the truck with you in a frame trailer.

Your the first to test out the new Frame-less trailer. So you be able to see what pros and cons of the two trailers you use?... For one you be able to haul more with the frame-less since you don't have to worry on the added weight from the beam trailer. Damn listen to the turbo whistle and smoothly jake brake down the grade for style.

JrFlexing909 haha thanks. I’m not the first though. We have probably 50/50 frame and frameless but I just switched to the frameless from a framed trailer so I’m getting used to it.

@@Wgrippin Time will tell, as well you be learning new things on the use of the frame-less trailer. It's good to learn a little more on the equipment you are using. Maybe you might drive Front Loader bucket to load your own trailer one day.

is it normal to keep the trailer brakes set when dumping these? one guy was talking about setting the tractor and leaving the trailer coming forward while dumping. Any input? situational? etc?

Sorry for the long response. KZread only shows me some notifications for some reason. Wind can be huge. When these are heavy and all the way up a solid gust of wind could potentially blow me over. I’ve never had a time that it’s scared me yet but it’s definitely a possibility

When using a frameless trailer.... Do you have to back up as the trailer bed goes up or does it pull the truck back while in neutral?

You can either lock the trailer brakes and let the trailer pull the truck back or can lock the tractor brakes and let the truck pull the trailer forward but typically 99% of the time you want to lock the trailer brakes and let the truck roll backwards so you don’t risk tipping the trailer.

Are u light enough to still get same tonnage in the trailer as before ?

I wouldn’t. I’m sure you could but you risk damaging the walls and the liner.

You get paid by the Ton or by the hour or load? Here where I’m from in Texas we get paid by the ton with asphalt and gravel
